I thought this was just for steam achievements? IIRC the game wouldn't let you earn steam achievements if you play modded, used console commands, or set certain map settings across specific thresholds. But you can still earn achievements in the save itself, they just don't count towards steam ...

Also can confirm this issue exists with https://mods.factorio.com/mod/loaders-modernized so it's not just AAI Loaders that this can affect. So I checked the blueprint, and it all works as intended. The storage chest has [0] as filter, which limits this parameter to be an item, and there is no item "empty barrel"

Looking through the suggestions page I did see that other people have been running into this issue as well, and from what they consider the issue, it seems just as likely the issue stems from the recipe and the output item not being considered separate items as we've discussed in the other thread ...

I second this. Especially when utilizing parameters to make streamlined bot malls. With how I have blueprints set up it makes it difficult to utilize parameters with anything that requires the selection of processing recipes like unbarreling and kovarex. So that does fix the issue, not sure why setting the parameter in the inserters to the same as the recipe doesn't work since p0 has ingredients. Might be an ordering issue on how the logic for reading the parameters is done.

btw, updated to include the math used for the bot mall logic ...

Yeah it was the emptying barrel recipe, not the recipe to make an empty barrel with steel. Essentially being used to transport liquids with a bot mall.

Parameter system doesn't let you select the empty barrel recipe in assemblers as shown in the screenshot below.
