I have the same issue and here it is only while biters are attacking. (doesnt matter if the attack is on screen or somewhere else) (also it starts as soon as biters attack / lazer turrets dont have to be engaged yet) + the weirdest thing is it is not consistent.. sometimes i tab out of the game or j...

fun fact: when you are in car and are facing upwards you get the backwards driving right... when you face downwards you will make it wrong...

yes i know but when you look closely the small belt part is not even part of the square - so to me its just an indication where the belt should gomrvn wrote:Note: You aren't dropping on the inserter but on the part of belt before or after it. It also matters where you drop items with an inserter.

You can take out or put things into furnaces or assembler too. So what exactly is your point? Afraid of getting your fingers caught in the mechanics of a splitter? what? do furnaces / assemblers have a inputbelt mechanics too? didnt see that before jokes aside the point is that it is not intuitivel...

As i can see it a splitter is a machine where the items go *in then magic happens and then come *out... so why can you in this process take out or drop items from/into it? it doesnt make any sence

So while i play on my own pc at 1920x1080 i recently played on another ones computer which has about the same physical size but nearly or exactly doubled resolution so sth around 4kto2k or so- it felt to me several times that i wanted to zoom in even more than max-zoom-in when focusing on small part...

This is based on mrvn's post. I have not tried it yet. He suggested using solar panels to generate steam for electricity and store the steam for most of your nightly energy need, with the remainder handled by coal... as an early strategy before you get oil and accumulators. i ended up using a switch in the refinery so that when the coal input to my boilers gets too low, the oil is used in solid fuel producion instead of gas, to prevent the first out of coal blackout. And without gas your production is kind of limited due to lack of plastic etc...
