Re: pY Alien Life - Discussion
Wasn't sure if to post it here or in pyPH, but since some of these recipes are pyAL specific I figured here. Glassware with boron trioxide recipe goes from 3x to 1x when using the hot air version. Glassware with purified quartz and refined syngas would go from 6x to 2x with hot air except that varia...

Re: pY HighTech Discussion
Since this is the HT thread, it's worth noting that oil burners are a PH thing (as is fuel oil...)
As for the combustion turbines, yeah, they get a double whammy of low efficiency and 800C combustion fluid losing you 20% of the listed power output.

Re: pY HighTech Discussion
Combustion turbines Mk1 and Mk2 also suffer from having sub-100% efficiency, so are worse than oil burners for turning fuel oil into power. Last time I ran the numbers, one 25k tank of fuel oil at 1.5MJ is 37.5GJ if burned with an oil burner, 12.4GJ when feeding the converted 800C combustion fluid t...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
Is needing two sintered nexelit intended for this molten nexelit recipe? I ask because it cancels out the 1 reduced to 2 sintered expansion from the sintering step which upsets the usual balance of sintered recipes producing less molten-per-craft in exchange to getting more crafts and thus more molt...

Re: pY HighTech Discussion
Quick question about the new glassworks: you can't seem to craft fiberglass in them despite it being defined in the code https://github.com/pyanodon/pyhightech/ ... .lua#L1010
Maybe it's because that recipe has too many fluids for the glassworks building?

Re: Kicalk plantations should glow
Most (raw fiber) recipes for the Kicalk plantation require an extra lamp. That makes me think they should glow in the dark when working. Did you mean glow like the vanilla centrifuges? Here's the relevant bit of centrifuge's entity definition that makes it glow when working: working_visualisations ...

I'm not sure if you've fully locked down your plans for recipes and tech but I found https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethylene#Ethylene_as_a_plant_hormone interesting: First some fruits were used as a catalyst to speed up production, then people discovered that kerosene lamps also worked and finally th...

Re: pY HighTech Discussion
I've locally done the search/replace of player to character on pyRO's and pyHT's data-updates.lua and have been able to run on 0.17.35 just fine, didn't have to touch stdlib.

Don't forget the main process which produces Iron Slime also produces Iron-Pulp-01 which also goes to Iron-Pulp-07.

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion
Just wanted to draw your attention to this upcoming breaking change:
70188
The fix should be a simple search and replace of "player" to "character" in pyHT's and pyRO's data-updates.

Re: the new recipes (coal dust gasification, the new fuel rod recipes for raw ores etc.), don't forget you'll need new migrations so saves that have already researched the relevant technologies have the appropriate recipes unlocked.

Mm, but that's changing coated container rather than nuclear sample (which seems like an ideal candidate for using the Raw Ores uranium chain in some way).immortal_sniper1 wrote: βMon Apr 15, 2019 9:28 am raw ores already modiffies that science by adding lead

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
Some Uranium related questions: Is it intended for Uranium Ore to have the vanilla stack size of 50? Asking since all the other stack sizes have been changed. Would you be willing to add the option of re-fluidising the intermediate powders? e.g. you made a bunch of 70% powder then once you've resear...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
I've noticed that Mineralized Water is only used for one recipe (copper coating) and is otherwise only for compatibility with Angels mod(?).
Would it make sense for Raw Ores to change that copper coating recipe to use a Raw Ores specific fluid instead (e.g. saline, molten copper etc.)?

[0.16] Pinned achivement progress regressions from 0.15
Noticed a few things: Progress bar doesn't appear Text positioning is very tightly aligned to bottom Each pinned summary display seems to be excessively wide compared to 0.15 0.15 https://i.gyazo.com/8d6cf640713e1c609cd2f8221e085787.png 0.16 https://i.gyazo.com/67406552911a0d162c9c0027292e3ba5.png
