Or stop consumption by stopping research, and just wait until everything is satisfied.

But if you don't want hordes of bots flying around, then don't build large bot based factories.

Whilst I run Linux on my home server, I don't play games on that box, so I don't have Steam installed there and don't know what settings to tweak in Steam. My expectation is that the Linux version of Steam would install the Linux version of Factorio. Your logs say that you are running factorio.exe. ...

Factorio has a native linux version. I would try that rather than using proton.

Edit: If you do want to continue to try proton, then I would also try opengl rather than D3D.

why is their a difference of if the player is in the spidertron
See viewtopic.php?p=381392#p381392 . From the behaviour that seems to only apply to player personal roboports.

Spidertron doesn't have a battery indicator. What you are seeing is the battery indicator of the player riding the spidertron. (I do agree that a battery indicator is a desirable feature).

Not a Bug. The game only attempts to dispatch a few construction bots each tick. So if you have 1000 ghosts it will take about 16 seconds to loop through the entire queue. This is an optimisation to prevent large construction queues from bogging the game down. See https://forums.factorio.com/viewtop...

Factorio is attempting to start on your integrated graphic. (It is also attempting to use opengl rather than directX, but that shouldn't be a problem). Try to tell windows to run it your dedicated graphics. (You might also want to check for newer graphics drivers as well).

Whilst I'm not expecting this to change (especially this close to release), I actually consider saving station names by default to cause more problems than the convenience is worth. eg viewtopic.php?p=500760#p500760

If you use the portable .zip version, you can reset everything (including the tutorials) by just extracting a the zip file to a clean directory.

Collision masks aren't always full tiles, and trees aren't always placed in the center of a tile. So it is quite possible that the furnace collides with the tree, but the inserter doesn't.
