Re: Friday Facts #401 - New terrain, new planet
Just read the last FFF. Great stuff - the hype train grows longer and stronger every FFF :D But i have the following question: Are cliffs on nauvis along the coastline possible / naturally occouring? I think some "White Cliffs of Dover" type cliffs alongthe water would be great not only fo...

Re: Roboports should output missing materials to circuit network
Why would you build a complex system that somehow keeps track of each individual outpost and somehow sends a train loaded with just what is needed there if construction is just a one time job? Like, what is there to maintain once the outpost is built? Seems like you want to do something that just d...

Re: Roboports should output missing materials to circuit network
After two years or so and the release of 0.17 i would like to re-express my desire for a way to output the missing items within a Roboport-Network, with emphasis on the construction requests or more likely the not available items within the construction requests. Be it a modifed Constant Combinator ...

Re: [0.16.0] Trains queued at occupied station not rerouting
Can we at least get an option to disable the station when a train is stopped at it? This "bugfix" breaks a lot of strategies. Although this is not a direct option in the station GUI it is rather simple to do - I connect something to the station via circuit network (usually a lamp, but eve...

[0.16.5] Crashed several times while using Blueprints/Decons
Hi I had 3+ crashes since I updated to 16.5 in a rather similar fashion. Im playing on a converted map created while 0.15, no mods. These crashes always occoured while working with Blueprints and with the last crash using the Deconstuctionplanner in an area with both, my personal Roboport as well as...

Re: Roboport Circut Output: +Available -Demand
I have tried this solution before: *Build a Constant combinator and set the stuff (and amount) you want/need in the outpost. I think the amount should be negative for my setup to work. *Connect the output to the input of a decider combinator. Setup should be Input:"each < 0" Output: "...

Roboport Circut Output: +Available -Demand
Edit: Wups https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=39474&p=251161&hilit=Roboport#p251161 ---- Hi there! I have this brainchild I'm thinking about since a few weeks. I want to setup a train for my outposts to supply my roboports there, outside of the reach of the "Mainbase&qu...

Re: Friday Facts #180 - Map interaction
I would like to suggest a Map View Mode where you can see the separated signal blocks of a train network with the corresponding colour indicating its status.
