On 0.11.22, I have the same issue without any mods : when I host, my game freeze while uploading the savegame (8Mo) (I upload at 400 kB/s). I removed the replay.dat from the file (4Mo) but it doesn't work, the other player was "dropped from the game" while downloading. I tested to set late...

I already use this method but each time, I'm thinking about why they didn't do bots that take items. Maybe I'm just a little frightened the devs lose the overall focus when doing those extra-thingies that (for me) have no real use and which can already be accomplished ingame without those extra-thin...

I tested on 0.11.10 but it still doesn't work.
Just in case, I tried to reset the inserter by remove it and rebuild it but that didn't help.

I guess it's their repository number, so unique for each compilation and then, you could be right. But if they don't want this number to be referred to, then they have to remove it ;)

I don't use the auto-updater. It's the version from .zip
12921 is the minor version and could be a specific version of compilation.
And I prefer to stay precise : detailed infos is better than less info.

When the wagon is not in vertical or horizontal, the inserter doesn't unload stuff. You could replace smart inserter by blue inserter, it's the same issue.

Note that when you are loading stuff, it works in both case. The issue only apply for unloading.

By the way, the plane will not be processed too as inserter will try to load twice of the current requierment (and it's the same case of my armor MK1 example)

Maybe this will fix the plane issue if it not reach the limit of stack. This limitation brings another bug too :
When we try to assemble item that requierd large stack that touch the limit of one stack (eg: armor MK1 with 100 steel plate), this will block the inserters : There is not enough room for its item. All all the process are blocked.

Just in case : I tested on the experimental release (0.11.0.12077) and it doesn't crash. But there is a mini freeze instead of the crash (I don't know if you care but it could point on some hidden issues or bad algorithm)
