I don't really see the issue. There is some flicker every half a second but that's from the video compression.
But I could guess that the combination of fast belts zig-zagging, lower FPS and possibly the TV image processor could create a strange effect. But this is not a bug, just a side effect.

Try restarting the game after deleting some save files as this will commit the deletions to storage.
In general restarting the game should clear the broken internal state and will help you confirm the state of your save files.

It is in fact possible for saving to stop working and be reverted due to how saving is implemented, sorry for the trouble.

I have fixed something related to this recently. When receiving an error(no crash) that the game could not be saved due to full storage, all subsequent saves would stop being ...

when I take a screenshot the font gets blurred slightly so it looks almost smooth.


This sounds very suspicious. A screenshot is a screenshot. Sounds like something in the OS, driver or screen "enhancing" the game.

This is working as intended.
This is a cheap workaround to make the editor UI fit on small screens. It will override the UI scale to make it fit and return to normal when exiting the editor. Otherwise parts of the UI would be unusable.

It only does this on Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck.

I assume you mean it doesn't scroll when using the "Select next/previous surface" hotkeys, so LT+RT+Dpad up/down.
This is fixed in Version: 2.0.67.

You can also use the cursor to manually scroll. To reach the new platform button for example.

Thanks for the suggestion. This does look like an oversight.
The selection center will no longer change when character is flying. The "crosshair" will appear when the character is flying to show where the selection center is, the same way as it does when selecting entities in remote view ...

You were also allowed to simply place blueprints in chests.
These should be fixed in Version: 2.0.59

Why not just cap the research at 10? Seems pointless to have an infinite tech with 10 lvls which do something.

There's no easy way to do it. Capping it at 10 makes it a non-infinite research so it will be required for the research all tech achievement. We would need to make a finite infinite ...

I got the save file from the user.
It was indeed a case of map being too large, reaching the limits of RAM for the console.
In such cases setting the sprite resolution to Medium in Graphics Settings will allow you to play a little longer.

I will try to investigate more memory optimizations.
