Re: Friday Facts #375 - Quality
I agree, please name the quality levels something that feels Factorio and not "Generic RPG / Shooter /whatever".

Hi
Moondrop and Manure seem to be missing from stacking.

Re: Deadlocks Stacking for Pyanodons mods
I would like to propose to move all stacking recipes locked behind stage 2 and 3 to be moved to stage 1.
In my opinion, the main benefit of stage 2 and 3 is the increased speed by using red/blue belts. the recipes themselves should not be gated.

Re: [0.14] What is it used for?
Since many mods add fluids with a fuel value, it would be awesome to have that fuel value shown in WIIRUF as a tooltip or listed.

Re: Friday Facts #266 - Cleanup of mechanics
Since this FFF has quite an impact on many bigger mods, I'm curious if a) you have some developers playing with mods (bobs, angels, etc) and b) have any critical voices against those changes in the team?

Re: [0.16] Sea Block Pack 0.2.12
If this is true, its excellent news. But I would like a confirmation. By log you mean the messages you get can see after upgrading the mod, right? It would be nice to state it on the starting page of this thread or somewhere else, where you can see it before upgrading. I am not very keen of upgradi...

I just kept eating fish while shooting worms with the machine gun until I got sniper turrets. I would easily go through 20+ fish for a medium nestBlakeMW wrote:

Re: [0.16] Sea Block Pack 0.2.8
at my new game, i just arrived where strand casting would be an option. now i wonder, have there been changes to it? from what i can tell, strand casting mk1 is exactly the same yield as if you just go with induction furnaces and regular casting machines. IIRC, the only benefit of strand casting mk...

Re: [0.16] Sea Block Pack 0.2.8
It's not quite that good. One enriched fuel block only covers 100MJ, so this yields 200MJ/s worth of fuel, or 160MW with MK3 boilers.ukezi wrote:that is a nice build. 2 Enriched/s is 600MW fuel. That are 56 MK1 boilers, 38 MK2 or 28 MK3 to use it all.

Re: [0.16] Sea Block Pack 0.2.8
Are you using beans or more advanced crops? I've been looking at alternatives but you have to provide like fertilizer and stuff and I'm not sure the increased yields are worth it when beans are an order of magnitude simpler. Could you post a screenshot and blueprint string of your setup please? I'm...

Re: [0.16] Sea Block Pack 0.2.8
In my new playthrough, I'm currently producing fuel oil from beans (via the fermentation glycerol route) to generate power. It seems to generate 3-4x the energy as goes in. The nice thing is it's quick and easy to scale up since the requirements are very simple to meet (sand, water, and seed that r...

Re: Bugs & FAQ
Hey Angel I'm running the SeaBlock 2.7 pack and might have stumbled upon a bug with the "Advanced Desert Garden Cultivation" recipe. According to the GUI the recipe should yield 2 bio tokens, one desert garden with a 5% chance of another one for 2 fertilizers and a desert garden. I was ho...

Re: [0.16] Sea Block Pack 0.2.7
Hey, whenever I start Factorio currently it crashes saying that something is wrong with Bobs Power, any tips? I just had the same problem. Maybe the latest 0.16 is too new? Is there a recommended version? Just use the mod pack posted in the very first post of this thread and you won't ever have tho...

Re: [0.14] Reactors & Atomic Locomotives
Yes, the reactor turbines are the only power provider during the night. Afaik gears just turn slower if there isn't enough power.
Edit: hmm I think I see where you're going with this

Re: [0.14] Reactors & Atomic Locomotives
Hi I'm running into some problems if I try to get my power from Reactor during the night. http://image.prntscr.com/image/f40db3d4502a403abe6c035470239cad.png Blue is solar, orange is reactor As you can see, the first night went well, but the second night something strange happened.
