Re: Friday Facts #222 - Christmas avalanche
I'm glad side loading is being well considered for compressing a belt, otherwise lane balancing or loading 2 different items onto 1 belt for making things would be impossible. Also what about miners compressing a belt? Will they be able to so you can have miners only 1 space apart? Or will you ...

Buffer chests: requesters have priority, always - as others have said. That's the only way I thought it would work from the description.
Belt compression: something I've been thinking about suggesting for a while now - a "belt merger/compressor" entity.

Re: Version 0.15.11
This has been one of the worse days in Factorio for me. :-(
An 8 reactor setup should still be easily doable if using all space around the reactors. That gives you 1.1GW, and you'd only need a few of those to power your base.
I was really hoping I could avoid just making a small reactor design ...

Regarding the change for heat pipes...
I think that the change to make the heat decrease with distance is good in general, it is reasonable to assume you can't stretch the heat too far from the reactors that generate it. But to my way of thinking I this change goes a bit too far in how much it ...

[0.15.1] Train Stop Reading Train Contents All The Time
I looked but couldn't find anything related this this oddity in the bug report forums as of writing this.
Train Stops appear to be reading the trains contents when connected to a circuit network even when the "read train contents" checkbox is unchecked. This can be fixed when the train is at the ...

Wow I am so excited for .15. You guys have done an amazing job with everything. It looks fantastic, thank you so much.
I have a question though I hope I can get answered. The mining drill shown in the nuclear power pic, the one with fluid input, is that a new mining drill just for mining uranium ...
