A way to increase roboport charging points would be nice. Even 3x Mk2s only charge 12 robots at a time. I have definitely experienced laying out a blueprint and then having to stand and wait for robots to queue up recharging near the end.
Or - even better - have them re-enter inventory and charge ...

You'll have to run around and mine Tungsten ore by hand(robot) for a while, dropping it off at an assembler to combine with charcoal (from coal) to make Tungsten Carbide. Carbide allows foundries and then big miners. Once you get about 5 foundries, everything gets much easier as you can direct-cast ...

The ability to hook into an electrical grid to recharge armor would be nice.

I'm playing a Vulcanus first start, so I have no onboard power for my mech armor except solar even though I've got factories running on Vulcanus, Fulgora, and Gleba.

What?
Add a recipe allowing sulphuric acid to be distilled into solid sulphur. A secondary byproduct could be water, steam, or heavy oil - or none at all.

I take it the "memory cell" is the second combinator, the one that sends and receives the same number? Its job is only to hold a "The value in the system now is X"?

So the overall logic is:

The system has Y amount of product X with a target value of Z.

No, I just put them on the edges and weak points of my Shattered Planet ship where they were more likely to be destroyed and need replacement. I'm still figuring out how to build to get past about 100k.

I look for what direction I can build a main bus (although with SA the bus is far less important). Starting on the 2nd playthrough of SA, which I'm still on, I also leave gaps in my factory so I have room to add things later, like pipes for molten metals, room to swap green and red circuit ...

You can use it for oil cracking and rocket fuel, sure, but you're not doing that because you have to, but because you want to.

That explains why oil processing never got a building upgrade!
And that explains the fish growing tech for Nauvis...to make nutrients for more efficient ...
