Does the new belt system mean corners are finally going to work properly?

Number of accumulators required to power factory?
I've found a topic about accumulator / solar panel ratios ( https://forums.factorio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5594 ) but nothing telling me how many of them I actually need. I guess you could calculate it, but for that you'd need to know the max power the factory can draw with everything run...

Re: Tank trunk with "lock" feature
Alternatively add something that you can plop on the ground and connect smart inserters to, when a car/tank/train is parked on it it will hook them up to the vehicle's inventory
I can imagine so many uses for this

That's cableless solution Zeblote; it's also reallife.
I want as detailed graphics as possible

Re: Electric locomotives
Electric trains should require fancy cables hanging along the rail, just like in real life. :D Magically getting powered by transformers sitting next to the rail makes no sense in a game striving for a bit of realism like this. Like this (random images from google) except in isometric factorio art s...

Re: Change map generation settings for existing map?
Are you sure there is no way? You enter the seed sperately from those values, so I assume they have no effect on the terrain generation.
So I'd assume you can change them somehow in the map file. It wouldn't affect already created chunks.

Change map generation settings for existing map?
I'm playing multiplayer for the first time, we thought it would be a good idea to leave everything at default settings but there are too many enemies spawning around the factory.
Is it possible to change the settings to generate fewer enemy bases in far away chunks we didn't discover yet?

[0.11.17] Shadow Angle Inconsistency
This is a minor problem, but after noticing it I absolutely cannot unsee it. Look at the random buildings (steam engine, pole) and you'll see that the sun comes somewhere from the left. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/143512782/Games/Factorio/Screenshots/sun1.jpg However, the player shadow is st...

Re: Version 0.11.1
Actually it shouldn't, as it creates significantly more pollution that modern cars. But you can't really compare software with cars :vssilk wrote:With the same argument someone can say, every car, older than 20 years, shouldn't drive on streets and needs to be scrapped.

Re: Version 0.11.1
You miss the whole point. People still use this software, despite being outdated and insecure. The developer already said that it doesn't take any work to make it compatible, just one check mark. It's not the task of the devs to make people switch to a newer version. People will stop using it when ...
