To make this clearer: 22.1 MPa = 32053.34 psi = 2210 Bar = 2181.1 Athmospheres. Thats crazy!HurkWurk wrote:500c steam will require a hell of a lot stronger pipes to handle than water.

Is it linux only? Looks like it. Uses gitsparr wrote:https://github.com/sparr/factorio-blueprint-compendium/
Part of this project includes writing tools to modify whole blueprint books at once outside of the game.
BTW: About 90% of the people clicking the links in my signature use windows.

Re: The perfect OCD compliant power plant! Now 0.15.11 safe
I figure placing one fuel cell into each reactor initially is no hardship. Unless you blue print. But then all your liquid pipes are randomly placed. As for power he mentioned solar cells for the inserters. Yea youre right. With this logic I cannot place the initial fuel with a combinator in there....

Re: (0.15.10+) Water and Steam, what's the plan?
I dont really understand your problem with this too. It is nice having steam as a seperate entity. It is to be expected that your build could not work anymore in the next version. Having 500°C water is a good enough thing to justify adding a new fluid type. WTF?! Are you serious about this or just ...

Re: The perfect OCD compliant power plant! Now 0.15.11 safe
Got a simple setup that does the same: - signal ...say "A" when water/steam in storage tanks is below set level (only one decider combination needed) - the inserters taking out used fuel activate on signal "A", stack size set to 1, outputs hand contets as pulse - the inserters i...

Re: Complete 2-Lane system RHD as a Blueprint-Book! Suggestions?
If I understand that correctly you need the lights to block the otherwise wrong placed signal when upgrading to 4 lanes with the 2 lane blueprint? I dont like the lights though. Its a huge cost. If I use the placement of your signals/length of your tracks it wouldnt work with the 1-2-1 trains the bl...

Re: Thorium ideas
Such a reactor would have a closed loop of molten salt. Actually two closed loops.
Also this would suggest the reactor uses molten salt as fuel.

Re: [0.15.10] Steam Turbines/fluid transport issues
Hmm, did a test in Freeplay mode (wow, so useful for things like this) and found the main issue with your setup was the fluid rate. Shortening the amount of pipes between the heat exchangers and turbines resulted in more energy produced. Adding on more heat exchangers in the line also increased pow...

Could you provide a save file? Then we can determine if it is a bug or not, or how to help you since im lost now.
If it is bug you should ask a mod to move this thread into the bugs forum. But lets take a look at the save first. They would want one too.

Re: Renting a Dedicated Server
I dont think this would help you if you even have a bad connection over LAN.
Can you play on other multiplayer servers?
To answer your question: nc1.eu
They always have the newest version pretty fast. Except when its weekend. They also have servers in Canada.

Re: Thorium ideas
Well Its a good idea to include molten salt reactors. But then the normal reactors should be able melt down. So you really have a reason for a safe reactor design that doesnt produce "more" energy irl. You could make it equally good too. Then you can make both reactors at the same time and...

Anyone figured out a way around needing a buffer of 80 units u238 per centrifuge, since it always tries to grab double the recipe amount? I guess you mean U235. Yes. Here is a good one. Even without combinators. https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=202&t=45871#p274367 For explanation loo...

Not sure if I should make another thread or not.
Make it possible to hold shift while scrolling mouse wheel to have a higher resolution in increments. Especially for the map this is VERY useful... for like screenshots and stuff. But anyway.
