[0.17.75] Desync on join after long idle time in pause

We used the 0.17.74 version and updated to 0.17.75 and since the version update we noticed that every time we go sleep and pause the game before we quit, rejoin the next day everyone get a desync error. Restarting the server fixes it. The last idle duration was ~7h, 23:35:21 last one left and 07:66:...

Re: [0.15.12] Large performance issue

@Twinsen thanks for the detailed information. Is it possible go do such performance breakdown on our own (your tree image), so we can better analyse our base and eliminate performance issues? If yes we also could share some data, if you want to. Because as is see the thread there are lot of views, s...

Re: [0.15.12] Large performance issue

And the real problem is 0.85 and up

Code: Select all

game.speed = 0.85
Large is same as small

The high peak was a save interval

Re: [0.15.12] Large performance issue

1. All debug options are disabled.
2. ok
3. This issue only appears in multiplayer, singleplayer works fine everytime. Is it possible to do debugging in multiplayer, to determine where this issue came from?

Singleplayer with "game.speed = 1.0"

Re: [0.15.12] Large performance issue

Singleplayer:
avg 49 min 40 max 55
Image

Both values are always the same.

Multiplayer:
With "game.speed = 0.8"

Image

UPS is always high, only fps drops extemly.

[0.15.12] Large performance issue

I'm and some friends are unable to join, or join very slow. I can't speak for my friends, don't know what OS or hardware they have. For me: http://i.imgur.com/dnxJamY.png What happens if i join on "catching up", while bar moves backward: http://i.imgur.com/XBuljW6.png I opened it so they d...

Re: [0.15.11] Random red train signals

@HanziQ i still see the issues, but could it be that these issues are there, because they were placed before the patch?

[0.15.11] Random red train signals

After some time, some train signal switches to red and won't change back. But the way is free and not blocked by something. Removing and placing it again will fix it. It's marked with a large "Why is this train not moving" marker. https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/7716508121639689...

The "auto report for desync" window does not appear.

I'm running Ubuntu 17.04

Too big for upload

Re: [0.15.9] Very long catching up and mini-freezes

I've tried the fast fix "/c game.forces["enemy"].kill_all_units()" and my fps issues are done and the catching up issue is much faster than before, thanks for that. A temp solution for faster catching up is pausing the game :D But we still have some clients (with a good hardware)...

Re: [0.15.9] Very long catching up and mini-freezes

Before the update we had a catch up time about 5-10 sec. after the update the catch up time is about 1-5min. And the catch up "bar" moves back and forward. e.g. 50% -> 60% -> 55% -> 65% -> 70% -> 65% -> 60% ... The CRC failures like if you watch e.g. belts, you will noticed they will stop ...

[0.15.9] Very long catching up and mini-freezes

After updating to 0.15.6 -> 0.15.9 we noticed long "catching up" and it looks like there are some CRC failures ("mini"-freezes with recover), but no desyncs. Logs does not show something usefull. 0.000 2017-05-07 17:54:54; Factorio 0.15.9 (build 29504, linux64, headless) 0.000 Op...
