I'm building my tracks far enough apart that I can put a 4-way intersection anywhere I want. I think it'll make it easier to make new additions to my railway system. I've been running into a little bit of trouble clearing some biter nests and swarms. To the best of my knowledge and searches, weapon ranges aren't shown in-game in 1.0, nor are there any mods that show the ranges of equipped messages. Has there been any update or change to this? My suggestion is to cycle through, randomize or otherwise vary which tip page is shown on the screen when you load in. My worry is that I read that the oil patch yield gets degraded for ever 300 pump cycles, and I didn't see the pumpjacks stop pumping at any time.

Regarding oil production, how does the pumpjack work? I don't want to waste production. The mining machines stop producing ore when there's no space on the belt to place the output. An idle machine also consumes less power. I'm a bit concerned that my pumpjacks are essentially just constantly pumpin...

Thanks for the advice.

I got it using the Humble Bundle Widget on the website, and ended up binging the game for around 20 hours straight, I think. This is one of the first times that's really happened to this degree.
