As a fellow pfSense user, this had me grinding my teeth for an hour or so. Finally found this thread and fixed the outbound NAT. I think I agree that the old Spidertron movement looks better. Works great for the Pentapods, doesn't look nearly as good on a robot. It's kind of twitchy and jerky. I love this so much, but I'm in mourning over the first concept not becoming the final design - it's absolutely gorgeous and just conveys "punishing electrical canon" to me so much better than the final "sauron" design.
