Very good idea that deserves considerations.
Would be better than the current cliffs we have, which are more like cumberstone rocks that you can't mine.

Re: Friday Facts #230 - Engine modernisation
I have to agree. the single biggest reason I still use windows 7, instead of 10, is because I don't want to be told I have to install updates and restart the computer. I turn on the computer, I want to use it there and then, not wait 3 hours for it to mess around doing updates. I got a new tablet c...

Re: How to fire up a steam locomotive
The whole task of firing up a steam locomotive is underestimated. The videos of this guy are great. Did you know that there was a dedicated job, only to fire up locomotives? They came in the early morning, fired up a single locomotive (plus cleaning, inspection, service and everything), and gave it ...

The best example i can think of at this moment are GitHub issues.
You can vote for the initial post and vote every single comment up and down (and even add certain emojis, but thats unnecessary). Its nice to show that you agree to someone without to quote them or leave a "+1" there.

Re: Save in the background
I'm always annoyed when trying to do something and the saving dialog pops up. And the more you play the larger the problem becomes because saving takes longer on larger factories. Why not save in the background in a separate thread and let the game keep running? "All" this would need to d...

Even the level-1 efficiency modules will lower your factory's pollution drastically. It is sure worth the ressourcesPatashu wrote:I think you can put efficiency modules in your buildings and beacons*, run everything off of solar+accumulators, and doing that will make pollution plummet.

Re: FireFly - Deploy Factorio Servers instant (EU)
Wow, really impressive, and this for a free service.
But i think you should display how many instances of a game are running currently (eventuelly above the deploy button) so you could estimate for yourself how laggy the server will be

Re: [0.15.x] Stack sizes for new items not consistant
Does anyone know if the devs pay much attention to the non-bugs area of the forums? I posted this over two months ago now, and don't have much hope of it being seen before 0.15 reaches a stable release at this rate... 0.15.31 already became the stable 0.15 version today , so you can only hope that ...
