Re: Pollution is counter-intuitive?
I really like how pollution works. Yes at beginning i have some problem with biters... now I do not, because I know how to build factory. Trees take place for some another factorio, but eat pollution, so it I have to make choice if I want to build there, of safe that trees to eating pollution. It is...

Re: Friday Facts #243 - New GUI tileset
New gui look good but.
Almost every hover element looks almost same like pressed. One exception is in radio button, I suspect that pressed will be with yellow in the middle not with black in the middle like everywhere else.

Re: [MOD 0.14] AAI Programmable Vehicles
Hi this mod sounds really great... It will be possible to make car with roboport? And also storage and pasive provider car? So you can put blueprint with recursive blueprints and then send car to build it there?

Re: Friday Facts #225 - Bots versus belts (part 2)
https://forums.factorio.com/download/file.php?id=33215 I'm not sure how would you make belts more space efficient other than totally getting rid of inserters in belt setups and embedding a direct loading from the belts into containers and assemblers. The devs proposed upgrading all belts with one r...

Re: Friday Facts #225 - Bots versus belts (part 2)
Also, I wish people would stop their aggressive stance towards the devs even if they come up with somewhat crazy notions in your opinion.. They've put a lot of work into Factorio and just want to put out a product that they're happy with and that they would enjoy. I think Kovarex clearly demonstrat...

Re: Friday Facts #225 - Bots versus belts (part 2)
Hi again. I build belt fully baconed green chips. And calculated throughtput with 8 copper cables 4 productivity modules and 16 speed modules in bacons should make 14 green circuit per second witch is 30 copper cable per second. And because there is belts you cannot put 2 inserter but only 1... But ...

Re: Friday Facts #225 - Bots versus belts (part 2)
The splitters is really good improve. And i thing that plates is not soo bad idea... but yes it is not soo interesting. But it can be made like trains can not take them and also robots can not take them. So it make blue belts like 4000/s throught put and it is something. And thank you to inspire me ...

Re: Friday Facts #224 - Bots versus belts
Simply belts throughtput is really bad. It is only bad because you compare it to something that's so overpowered it makes no sense. If logistics bots had sensible limitations or didn't exist at all, you'd consider belts throughtput acceptable. No even when bot does not exist I feel pain that throug...

Re: Friday Facts #224 - Bots versus belts
I really want to build copper production with using belts. But then I see, then only 2 assembly machine can fill almost full belt (make 30/s) so they belts are useless because of their through put. Also very paintfull is their compressing (but we can hope, that it will be improved). In another hand ...

Re: [Circuit Network] Speed and Debugging
Btw you do not need so complicated memory cell. I need to do same thing (store signals as many as it is possible). And my memory looks like this factorio-memory-cell.png . It take some hours to sort it out but now it is compact as it can be I think. To the both comparator have to go signal R from so...

Hide robots
TL; DR Hide robots to make them transparent and see what is below them. What? When you build a robot based base, there are many robots going somewhere somewhere and you usually do not see anything under this cloud of robots. So make them transparent will help to see something. Why? At first the gam...

Re: Low power detector w/ combinators instead of inserters
This is quite good, but It work only if power supply is less then 50%. So i do not see any advice over accumulator and read signal A.
