Re: Coal Liquefaction
Yep, probably the balancer. Which is the design I used for the past eight years
The depleting mines are just on the fringe of the coal field and don't go into the balancer, but "on top" of another line. There curently are 5 red belts fully compressed (the last mines on each belt don't produce ...

Vulcanus, one green belt coming out of a green balancer and is then halved into two red ones, each feeding 15 refineries. As per screenshot, coal is depleted around the eleveth refinery.

Coal Liquefaction
Hi,
according to the wiki (or ingame), Coal Liquefaction uses 10 coal and the recipe runs for 5s. So a red belt (30 items/s) should be able to supply 15 refineries. Yet I am unable to run more than 11 Refinieries off a red belt.
Where am I wrong?

Re: Keeping biters at bay
Remember tp leave gaps in the wall so the biters can reach the turrets. This will prevent them from attacking the walls, and slows them down to give the turrets more time to shoot at them.

The serial from gog works on the WUBE website. Alas, the serial is only displayed when visiting GOG.com, not from the client on your PC!

Re: Inserter power usage (aka don't use fast inserters)
The advantage of regular inserters is only given as long as they do not need to pick up from red oder blue belts -which only fast inserters can do relieably? Or is this deprecated?

How about making the city blocks bigger? 6x6, maybe even 8x8 and have room for a little stacker.

Conveyor belts work withput electicity (which is rather friendly). Place electric miners on the copper and have them drop onto the belt. Maybe see a beginners video on youtube to get the idea.

As someone who administers POWER servers for a living I'd suggest you'd better be have a second look at one of the current P9 workstations and then maybe reconsider. These beasts are very expensive. And loud. Additionally, the VGA adapters available do not really cater gaming.

Hi,
which version of Mint do you run? And does Logi provide any posh drivers for the mouse?
jftt: Thinkpad T430i, MX Vertical, Mint 20 runs smooth. Slowly, but smooth.
