Congrats @Bilka ! I'm too new in the community for knowing the older wiki, but for sure, the actual one rocks !
See, I never ever though that it wasn't maintained by the devs themselves xD

... also don't forget a "pause research" button. It would be nice to have that as well. Then I don't have to run through half my factory to hit a powerswitch. why would you pause research manually? just hook that powerswitch up to a signal and define when it should stop (for instance when...

I fixed the issue by just ...

Re: Friday Facts #230 - Engine modernisation
It's pleasing to see you moving towards the future instead of living in the past. I'd hate to be that guy, but anyone using systems older than 10 years really need to bite their tongue and accept the fact they're very technically behind and need to upgrade to something modern instead of expecting p...

Re: Friday Facts #228 - High resolution turrets
So i get that i dont ever post, so you might take me for a newb, but i've played this game for a long time, and build megabases. I'm aware of exactly how everything works right now. I find it unsatisfying that while i can pump out depleted uranium ammo, there is little point. I would LIKE to have t...

Re: Friday Facts #228 - High resolution turrets
But what frustrates me on your post is that Raden HD 6000 series, despite being released 8 years ago, supports up to OGL 4.4! And yet you argue for us to stick to OGL 2.1, because even OSS community didn't see value in fully supporting those old GPUs :( The problem here is not the FOSS community, b...

Re: Friday Facts #228 - High resolution turrets
I was thinking about the latests FFFs and your Vram issues with new HD graphics. Is it possible to pack all the old textures in a sort of "mod" so Factorio will stil be playable on lower end PC ? You can always set the image resolution to Normal. :) Lol, my bad, didn't know that there was...

Re: Friday Facts #225 - Bots versus belts (part 2)
I'm a great belt user (nothing is more reliable than belts for turret's ammo delivery, in case of power failure :D). That's why upgrading the belts seems, to me, an awesome idea ! Still, I consider the bots complementary: it's way easier to put a few provider chests, roboports, and requester chests ...

Minor Tree'k
I was trying to get the flamethrower achievement, whan I realized that destroying burned trees gives raw wood and not coal !
Also, there's no recipy able to make (char)coal from raw wood.
Can It be planned for next version ? thanks !

Re: Difficulties With Setting Up Headless/Dedicated Server (W10)
I'm having a lot of difficulties setting up a headless/dedicated server on Windows 10. FIrst of all, a headless server is only possible under GNU/Linux or any *nix like OS. The ubuntu shell integrated in windows 10 doesn't count as a linux OS. I have to move on from in-game multiplayer because most...

Re: Friday Facts #211 - The little things
Yes! Please continue working on the little things! Please polish! You have created a superb game engine, but you haven't created a great game yet. Honestly, the UI is very simplistic. It does do its job, but it is not always intuitive and straight forward. I propose a study from an usability expert...

3. A re-think of Fission Power to make the ratios less arcane. I don't mind the Adjacency stuff, +100% and +200% and even +300%, that's fun, but all those decimal value multipliers... Actually I hope they rework the Adjacency system altogether in the future to make different setups other than 2*n s...

Re: Friday Facts #210 - Circuit connector module implementation
now that i think about it, i wish the shadows wouldn't be part of the Texture but instead a seperate thing, so that it could corospond to the time of day and nearly light sources. I mean comeon, it is kinda silly if you place a light to the right of something and the shadow is visible under the lam...

Re: Friday Facts #211 - The little things
Yeah ! This blueprint thing was bugging me too ! About the pipes, why don't you just check if there is another pipe nearby, and where (top/bottom, left/right), to rotate the tile accordingly? That won't break fluids behavior, but will look way better! Also, Is it just me or it's impossible to contro...

We don't send any private information to Google I know ! But since there is a (tracking) script from google, They grab it anyways, as long as the script is on the page. the only information recorded with the analytics is the IP used to access the website. Why using Google analytics, then? you can d...
