Re: Best Mods?

While I agree, the only way to get those numbers is for the program to report them, and considering how people reacted to bug reporting... Also, while blindly following the list is not great, reading the descriptions and considering the mods in that order is a pretty good starting place. It was min...

Re: Combinator help

Actually PLCs do have a type of programming language, but regardless the entire system in the game is overly complicated. The mod MicroController is a better implementation, but even that could be improved if it were handled by the developers. Why not just do this: Put a sensor on a pipe. Have it mo...

Re: Problem with understanding circuit conditions and using them

See, this is one of the examples that baffle me. If you are outputting a constant iron = 3 signal than in what possible way could the final (if iron <= 2) EVER be true? You are constantly broadcasting a value of 3. In my mind I see it terms of code as this $Iron = 3 If ($iron <= 2) { # this will lit...

Re: Combinator help

The entire system is the most overly complicated, poorly documented, system I have seen. It is even more complicated than programming a VCR clock in 1989 with a manual written in hieroglyphics 27 buttons on the VCR and none of them labeled. I did not check this blue print, so this is not directed at...

Re: [MOD 0.14] Text Plates

I stopped playing to come here and tell you how awesome this mod is. I especially love how I can type a "sequence' and then it will place each letter in that sequence. So much better than picking each character. I'm one of those people who likes to label things (Brother P-Touch is my best frien...

Re: Best Mods?

And your point is? That "most downloaded" doesn't mean "best". Not sure what is difficult about this. I'm with Deadlock on this one. I went down the "most downloaded" path (there was no other real option) and grabbed Angel's and Bob's. I made the mistake of flipping it...

LOL! Thanks, I needed a laugh.

I actually cut those apart, and have for years every since I saw a bird stuck in one. I would leave them for biters, though.

Re: forum cursor hard to see

To quote from Friday Facts #238: We are paying a lot of attention to the readability in general, according to the AAA standards of the WCAG. So the contrast with the panels and the font is increased quite a lot compared to previous mock-ups by simply using a contrast checker. Also the font size is i...
