Re: libpng not found
No it wasn't. My bad. I didn't have the right library installed. (For anyone running into the same problem the package is called "lib32-libpng12" and can be found in the multilib repository. I don't know about any other dependencies the rest seemed to be installed on my system.) Thank you ...

Re: libpng not found
Sorry the .o was a typo, of course it's .0 in the folder as in the error message. LD_PRELOAD throws this error: "ERROR: ld.so: object '/lib/libpng12.so.0' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored." Does this mean there is something wrong on my end? About the 64-bit executables: I don't...

Hello guys, I'm trying to get factorio to run on Archlinux (64-bit). I downloaded your *.tar-version and extracted it in my home folder. But when I try to start the game via the executable, I get an error saying "./factorio: error while loading shared libraries: libpng12.so.0: cannot open share...

Updater
Hello,
Please add an Updater to the game that ideally would automatically update the game or at least informs the user of a new version and present a link.
Greetings,
Faerbit

Re: Suggestions And Minor Issues
To 13: Thanks, I just find kind of unintuitive, because it is handled in a lot of other games this way. But maybe you are right and I'm just a little bit weird and most people don't have problems with it. Another Suggestion: Make the technology GUI in a tree form, so you can easily see which depends...

Re: Suggestions And Minor Issues
In response to 9: you can use this map editor feature, also I'm not sure about any controls there... I would like the idea of an seed (which contains all parameters for the map generation) which you can input before you start the game (like in Minecraft). This would also allow to share seeds. More s...

Re: Put Science Packs into the Lab
Just wanted you to know that it works now for me. Thanks. Also the technology tooltips seem to kind of fail randomly, like completely unrelated to applications switching. Reopening the technology windows seems to solve this.

[Resolved 0.2.7] Technology tooltips
Hello guys, just dived into the alpha. Man, there's so much stuff, I love it. One thing I'm unsure about is, how to put these Science Packs automatically into the Lab as I don't want to shift these around all the time.I tried to put the Science Pack 1 with an Inserter into the Lab, but it let me. Is...
