It wouldn't really matter on Nauvis. Where this would be useful is on Gleba, where the stompers and strafers are *much* more pressing threats than then the hordes of wigglers that come with them. Definitely felt the lack of target priority when I was playing with my new spidertron toy this morning.

I'm mostly happy that beacons got a boost if you're using small numbers of them. It means I can sprinkle them in so that each machine gets the effect of no more than one beacon and still feel like it's contributing significantly.

This doesn't exist in the current version of the game. It wasn't added because the developers were concerned about slow down.

One more: Bring back rocket parts. Then we have the same problem with them that we have now with blue circuits, LDS, and rocket fuel. I'm not sure how well this would work out, but changing the behavior so that a silo working to fill a processing unit/low density structure/rocket fuel order can accept insertion of those items seems like it would be better than limiting the area that's valid for insertion?

This proposal is 2x2. That limits to two inserters per side.

Frankly no, since this proposal also blocks using one side for all three parts with different inserters for each.

It is not as simple as cut and paste. I would have to completely reroute belts, move beacons, add spaces between currently adjacent silos, and cross under rail lines with the proposed layout in the first post.
