Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
I turned off pollution. I really don't think it's possible to play the full py suite with normal biter settings. And it would be miserable if you did

Re: pY Industry - Discussion
3k tank for life. 3 of them line up so nicely with fluid wagons and store enough for 3.5 trains to go through. If only they could connect on all sides. The 7k tank is a lie, it's shaped like a wagon but you can't get fluid out of the side of it

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
Start buffering tin and glass and soil. You can automate wood boards pretty early. Also automate tinned wire ASAP. The beginning is slog but it's a drop in the bucket. You can do red science by like 8 hours and blue is like...80? IDK lol

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
Are you using syngas for power generation? I am overflowing with tar from that process even after splitting it into more coal gas. I need to split it into borax and niobium just to get rid of it (which also gives saline water)

Re: pY Industry - Discussion
Is the research required for logistic warehouses little crazy, considering you reduced the research requirements for logistic chests? It takes a megabase to get to production science, I can't imagine going back in afterwards and improving things with logistic warehouses at that point.

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
Isn't gravel/sand basically free if you process the raw ores? They all produce stone, gravel, and sometimes sand

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
IMO fluid wagons requiring stainless steel is overkill. Trains are fun. Tons of ores with different chains are fun. A bazillion steps required for stainless steel is fun. But getting to the stainless steel level with super long ass pipes and pumps, or thousands and thousands of barrels of syngas, is...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
Yeah that's fine, it's just the misleading research tree that I didn't like. It would be like in vanilla if you researched railways to unlock train tracks, and then when you try to make them you find out the track-making building is locked behind a blue-science tech. This situation doesn't happen in...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
First of all, this is an amazing mod, so thanks for all your hard work on it. I just started playing this a few days ago, and I've been trying to work toward the first step up in iron smelting efficiency. I see things changed a bit in the most recent update (processed->molten went from 2 ore/plate ...
