The fact it's not grayed out means your startup settings don't match what the save has *OR* your enabled mods doesn't match what the save had (either you have newer/old versions of enabled mods or just different mods). I've just completely uninstalled Factorio, deleted the AppData\Roaming\Factorio ...

I have this problem, or one very similar, too. It started with the update to 17.54 from 17.49 on GOG Galaxy. The Sync button shows mods are out of sync when they're properly in sync. Sync requester shows all mods, including inactive mods, as active. That's not what that means. If they're not checke...

All rail bounding boxes are now hardcoded/not moddable. This is to avoid unexpected collision/rail block merging behaviour. This is the first time an update has made me hate an update. Why is this necessary? Do you hate bridges so much? Or is it simple desire to never see possibly of bug report cau...

I find it very hard to move items around in the task bars. Am I missing something? You are missing that the task bars don't hold items. They hold bookmarks, or links, to items. You don't "move" the item in your task bar, you instead create a link in a new spot (by dropping the item there)...
