Re: Friday Facts #432 - Aquilo
Why the railguns are shooting backwards in space? The asteroids are not usually catching up with the platforms from behind. Maybe on Aquilo even parking in orbit gets you bombarded with large asteroids, and if you are not moving those may very well come from behind. You need a rail gun propeling me...

Re: Friday Facts #432 - Aquilo
I know this might be a bit nitpicky and I also know that it is just a game, but... am I the only one that gets thrown off that the railgun has a cratridge that gets ejected? I mean the basic principle of a Railgun is to take basically a metal spear and yeet it forward using magnets (I will let myse...

However, why electric smelter (or any smelter) would need an external heat source is beyond my understanding of smelting. :?:  :?: To jumpstart it. Same reason why in the north, we plug in our cars even though the engine gets hot enough to sustain itself once running. You pre-heat mechanical ...

1 Water expands to 10 Steam in boilers and heat exchangers ============ Introduce new a Turbine of same size but double consumption of steam (double production), which shrinks 12 Steam into one water. Add a new water output on the long side of the turbine and Lubrican input. This would somewhat simu...

Re: Perfect Nuclear Cloverleaf v3, Modular 1-4 cores book : 40-480MW, All the bells and whistles
thank you for the blueprint. You are welcome. I am currently playing with Space Exploration mod. This mod changes the efficiency of solar panels e.g. they are only 30% effective. - e.g. my work around is extracting some steam into a tank and connecting a turbine to the pump/logic pole network, thus...

Re: Friday Facts #428 - Reactor & Logistics circuit control
The steam itself was always just an indicator because we could not read the reactor temperature directly. Now the logic is simply insert fuel if reactor fuel is 0 and temperature is <= 500° or something in that range. But that's not how (smart/lossless) steam battery setup works. It shouldn't resta...

Re: Friday Facts #424 - Gleba Pentapod Enemies
Personal laser defence looks still OP. All kinds of lasers should get dmg reduced by range. Then dmg at max range is 10% of laser max dmg. Min range has 100% dmg of course. I think rule of cool applies. Running around zapping everything like an R-type is kinda silly. Remote commanding an army of sp...

Display panel was needed. I am glad you took time to iterate. When I saw the Display panel with conditions, that made me smile. :geek: Playfull thingy. I dont think that "fix inserters" is somewhat positive. I see it natural tha slow inserter, burner, has issues on fast belt. It is not bug...
