Re: [MOD 0.16] Realistic Reactors

~~Snip snip, the feeling doctor has come and snipped out something interesting~~

Can you give a blueprint and a screenshot where you can examine your reactor design in more detail?

Re: [MOD 0.16] Realistic Reactors

We could wait even more though, to get even more power and efficiency! At 945 to 950C the reactor outputs exactly 80MW at 149% efficiency. Try calculating the fuel cell value and how long it will last yourself, to see if you have grasped how it works by now. Running precisely 8 heat exchangers woul...

Re: [MOD 0.16] Realistic Reactors

Hey. It seems that I don’t understand something at all. What is the default reactor power for this mod? I do not rise above 23, and the temperature never rises above 480 degrees with turbines connected. If you turn off the heat pipes, then in about five minutes the temperature rises to 1000 degrees,...

Re: [MOD 0.16] Realistic Reactors

Hah, I "love" developers who ignore 2\3 user posts.

In the end, just make normal underground pipes, please.

Re: [MOD 0.16] Realistic Reactors

it has the advantage that you can use it across surfaces Which ones? Ice, lava, and dark matter? Underground pipes in this implementation are absolutely incorrect. I ask you to remake them on the example of ordinary underground pipes, which work perfectly in all other modes and do not cause any pro...

Re: [MOD 0.16] Realistic Reactors

In addition, the idea of "teleporting" heat, even if the heat pipes are not in the same line, is a bad, very bad idea, which is unrealistic. And in general, the impression that this idea with tubes is not your idea is so strange it is implemented.

Re: [MOD 0.16] Realistic Reactors

I assumed that it looks like underground conveyors or pipes, although they can be connected from the side parallel to the direction side. That is, if the "descent" and "rise" of the pipe are directed from top to bottom, then you can connect only above or below these "ascents...

Re: [MOD 0.16] Realistic Reactors

Underground pipes do not work. They collide with objects. Hackwork in general.

Re: [MOD 0.16] Realistic Reactors

I would ask you to re-read my posts again. Just according to the scheme that I drew, ONE working reactor will try to distribute heat ON ALL heat pipes (and heat exchangers, respectively), and thus heat the heat exchangers that must be fed from other reactors. Type - one reactor for 14 heat exchanger...

Re: [MOD 0.16] Realistic Reactors

Now re-read everything that I wrote above. It seems that you did not do this, because I explained everything in detail before in three posts and in the very first post with a picture of how reactors in a bundle of heat pipes look like in this case.

Re: [MOD 0.16] Realistic Reactors

i'm not sure what your layout is, but if you spread the reactors enough, you actually shouldn't need the underground heat pipes.
Thus, remaining without bonuses reactors.

Re: [MOD 0.16] Realistic Reactors

as cheating The names “realistic” and “cheating” contradict each other. In reality, a set of pipe bends, even in the sanitary unit of a house, can be so tricky in terms of geometry that it’s impossible to place everything on the same plane “on the forehead” if you wish. In this particular fashion, ...

Re: [MOD 0.16] Realistic Reactors

I think heat pipe switches are a must-have item in fashion. In the end, firstly, the original mode, before the introduction of steam into the game, is more realistic (similar to a multi-channel reactor of high power, which was in Chernobyl), since colder (relatively!) Water passes through the active...

Re: [MOD 0.16] Realistic Reactors

There is a mod from the same author who adds “switches” of heat pipes, underground pipes and a couple of other things, however my base is not yet able to research these things (what's the point of shoving the gold research packages into the research of the SWITCH ????). Well, I’m interested in such ...

Re: [MOD 0.16] Realistic Reactors

Hi, I ask you to explain one thing. In the original, I can connect neighboring reactors tight to each other and receive a neighborhood bonus, thereby increasing capacity. In this case, I can remove the heat pipes separately from each reactor, without mixing the heat pipes from one reactor with the h...

Re: [MOD 0.16] Switch Button

Hi, I like this mod, but I don’t like the fact that changing the state (on or off) does not appear on the appearance of the button (it worked once, but now it’s always in the default view for some reason).

5dim mod didnt work on 0.17.5-0.17.53

I tried to install all the modes from "5dim" and in the mods tab I see that all the modes from "5dim" except the core require a dependency that is already satisfied, but the modes themselves blink red. Any of the mods "5dim" requires the dependence "5dim core =>1.3...
