Re: Friday Facts #360 - 1.0 is here!
Congrats on releasing 1.0. I still remember many years ago when Kovarex told me that he decided to leave his job and start coding Factorio, and he was looking for testing players to get some feedback. I decided to test it out and spend about 60 hours playing the oldest version. I was instantly hooke...

Re: Friday Facts #131 - Roadmap shuffle
I hope you guys can find some good additions to the team. On the subject of icons, I went back to play factorio again after a long break and got to get a feel for the new tech icons. I'd seen them before in an FFF but it's still a bit of a different thing to see & use them in-game than on a sum...

Re: Friday Facts #51 - First MP Game
I was playing multiplayer Factorio with the developers today, it is quite fun and quite playable already. We played in three people maybe one hour, got to green science and steel production. The game resyncs every one minute or so, which is not much problem, and there were a few crashes which will h...

Re: [0.10.x] Factorio Maps
I am generating my huge map now, but probably can't upload it anywhere. Btw. would it be possible to modify this to generate stuff with ALT info, so one can understand the factory?

Re: How big is your save game folder?
Thanks to this thread, I found some old version of Factorio at my computer and deleted like 1 GB of old saves. Thanks a lot! My current saves have like 0.5 GB, maybe I will erase most of them. I have a small SD hard drive in my laptop.

Re: The Hydra Dilemma - A Coop Factorio Playthrough!
... this is currently the best series to learn to play Factorio really deep.... Sorry, no... Don't want to insult anyone but.. I really watched now a couple of episodes.. And IT HURTS so much... Really... The density of fail, on so many levels... Can't say much more, really hope new players get the...

Re: Productivity Module Math
I would say this just shows one aspect of productivity modules. In most cases, resources like iron and copper are vast and you don't need to save them much. So putting productivity module into iron gear factory does not really help you, speed would be better. On the other hand, alien artifacts are f...

I'm going to give this a shot on my channel (In real time rather than my usual fast forwarding). Expect the first episode on Saturday! If it goes well I might keep going. When I have originally seen this thread, I was thinking this is just silly. Today, I was watching your video and found the chall...

Looks very good, just next time you could decrease volume of music since it is too loud.

Re: [0.10.3] RoadWorks 1.06 + Soundless version
I am enjoying building massive roadwork around my base, a lot of fun. Just a physics remark: reducing friction does not make stuff going faster, it is actually the opposite way. Say you have a rotating wheel on a road. Then without any friction the wheel would be just rotating at the place, without ...

Re: Iβm starting a new youtube show and I need your help!
If you want something big, you can try my green factory (very low pollution): https://forums.factorio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5529 It uses only three very simple mods which do not change game significantly, just add some items to tune look of your factory: roadworks, floors, and advanceill...

Re: [0.10.X] Explosive Termites - extreme deforestation
Btw. is there some simple mod which allows you to manually replant trees. I was looking at treefarm, but a description is non-existent and I don't really need to automate tree harvesting, I have 30k wood. But I would love to be able to fill some spaces with trees and so.

To Blackence: Sorry, copying is not stealing , this is just poor non-sense. Copying is just, well, copying. If laws do not reflect reality of the nowadays society, well, maybe the laws should be changed. For me, sharing is caring. Sharing is perfectly normal and no newspeak changes this understandin...

Re: [0.8.x] Big solar farm
Wow, beautiful designs in this thread, thanks . I personally just place solar panels in 2x5 blocks, with lanes running on both sides. Also in a lot of situations I don't have much free space since I don't want to remove too much forest (makes green factory more green ).

Re: Take down pirates
Exactly as above, I have to agree. I believe that some people can get to the game by downloading it from a torrent and then they start liking the game. If you buy the game, you get advantages like helping the developers and automatic updates. So some people might later switch do buying the game, ins...

I was watching one of your videos with a crazy polluted factory and you can turn off pollution in the minimap (it is somewhere in the options, maybe graphics). A set it turned off, and I only have it in the full map when I really care about the pollution).

Re: My green factory
I have added a link to download save to those who are interested. I was playing little bit last night, tripled my production unit production and added a lot of beacons. It required a lot of new energy, and I extended my copper mining little bit. Soon will need much more power to deal with pollution....
