Thank you so much! i just closed factorio by cmd+w accidentally while reading this topic

same issue. factorio process starts and is just doing nothing for a while until it quits. have no crash report but i took a sample of the process if that helps: Sampling process 71977 for 3 seconds with 1 millisecond of run time between samples Sampling completed, processing symbols...
