Re: Friday Facts #407 - Automating a soundtrack

This is a very cool project. The biggest piece of music I have associated with Factorio in my head until now is Gloria Coates' Symphony no. 4. I really love Gloria Coates, RIP.

Re: Friday Facts #388 - Smaller things for 2.0

Wonderful! I don't think I'm colorblind, but I can't see the difference between normal-ghost color and max-range-ghost color. Maybe it will be easier to notice in game. (Also, I think I will probably still default to going past max range then back most of the time, because I expect it will be smooth...

Research is back to the beginning, but the factory is in a state where rockets can be launched.
There is another me.
There are some strange points, but let's try playing in this environment.
I just want to say this post is like poetry.
Also it takes me back to outer wilds.

Those thrusters look juicy. How KSP are we going here with orbits and such? Will thrusters only have to fire when breaking orbit / changing trajectory and such?

(Please call the space space science packs improved/advanced/sigma space science packs, anything other than space science packs in space.)

My reaction to the quality naming scheme was that it might break immersion a bit, not because I take the game or myself seriously, but because that naming scheme isn't found anywhere else in the game. It feels out of place, like a naked man in winter stretching outdoors before a neighborhood run. (H...
