The following code (in control.lua) does pretty much what you said. Note, that this will work only if there is a player inside and it will be overpowered. I'd like to try to create an internal mod creator as a mod. However, to do this, I'd need to be able to load a prototype inside control.lua script. This would be possible (I think) if the item was in vehicle inventory. Not the burning slot.
