Re: Friday Facts #365 - Future plans
Thank you to all the devs, modders, and everyone that worked on this game! It was truly awesome! Here are some more ideas for what you can do: -Do a TED talk! Now... maybe a lot of other games do operate like you, and we just don't see it, but for me, I loved your weekly FFFs and all your transparen...

Re: Thank you (Make the dev-team happy today!)
Aloha Devs, I wanted to say thank you for something that seems so small. I know there are TONS of other great things, but just the simple fact that when I hit save... the game stays on the menu so you can exit. I don't realize how much I appreciate this little thing until I play on of a myriad of ot...

Re: [1.1.x] power pole dragging late when dragging between objects
This is not a bug, the pole will place retroactively. He realizes, the issue (whether it is or not) is that they don't place until the next gap, rather than at the max distance between poles. Which is exactly how it is supposed to work. But the point is the behavior of the poles with objects is DIF...

[1.1.x] power pole dragging late when dragging between objects
Not sure if this is 1.1.0 or 1.1.1, but I noticed if I put a series of solar panels or assemblers in pairs with one space as pictured (allowing for max wood pole distance), the poles are placed a little late. It isn't the same pace as just putting down objects. I feel this is a bug because they do n...

Re: Friday Facts #363 - 1.1 is getting close
I'm loving 1.1 so far. The title screen is great! The only bug I've encountered so far is if I put down a row of solar panels, but leave a space for the wooden elec poles, when I come back to run-drag-place the poles, the poles don't place as I run. I have to place them one at a time. I'm not sure ...

Re: Friday Facts #352 - New website
If you're going to redesign stuff, I want to voice some thoughts about the light/white text on dark/black screens. Now I know lots of people love dark theme, but when it is a lot of text, I get bad eyestrain. Often times when I want to read your FFFs, I copy all the text, and paste it into word unfo...

Re: Friday Facts #351 - Beacon re-redesign & Simplified fluid mixing
I've said it once, I'll say it again. When people complain about change, devs often make the excuse that people don't like change. They ignore the fact that their change was for the worse. But when someone does change right, people LOVE IT! And once again, these are GREAT changes! The thought and re...

My 2 cents... I love the attention to pollution, biters, pipes and all that, and impressed you even automated the wiki! But as far as the chests... I like the old wood/iron/and steel chests more. Something about the shape. The new logistic chests are neat though! I like the iris hatch! The new rocke...

Re: Thank you (Make the dev-team happy today!)
THANK YOU DEVS for all your updates! As always, your thoughts and ideas are great improvements to a game that I thought couldn't be improved any more! You guys really need to do some kind of podcast or TEDtalk about your communication with the community/planning game improvements and your ideas abou...

Re: Friday Facts #279 - Train GUI & Modern Spitter
First, another AWESOME post! Love you guys Wube! But my two cents, if you're still reading this thread (and maybe these were said already): 1) The green bar filling for the full cargo inventory is great, but I think the emptying condition should go from a full green bar down to an empty car. I think...

Re: I've had alls I can stands and I can stands no more
Now, I'm certainly one that loves to critique, but this has never been a problem for me. I have never once associated with color alone to tech level. It's always been red belt is faster then yellow belt; yellow assembler is faster than blue assembler. That, combined with how many of these different ...

Re: Steam Best Developer nomination
The "Fun with Machine" category makes sense, but I also really like to "Labor of Love" Category. The problem is it seems (IMHO) there are 3 really good categories for Factorio (assuming Wube gets their dev profile on steam up). I would happily vote all three of these if I could, ...

Re: [Bug] Angel's refining missing for Bobmonium/Rubyte
I'm also wondering about this as well, especially sense I want to get silicon ore, which can be gained through floatation and sorting via bobmonium. I have the bobmonium and the facilities, but not the recipe. Without silicon, I can't make cement, thus concrete, thus concrete bricks, and thus a lot ...

Re: Friday Facts #241 - New player experience
So I am a little late to this weeks FFF forum, but I just skimmed all of these and found very little regarding the first paragraph of this FFF: Hi, I'm Ben (Abregado). My experience as an educator using Factorio in the classroom means I have thoroughly examined new players (young and old), and have ...

Thank you so much! I had been wanting to request something like the buffer chest, but I wasn't sure if it was just me doing logistic chests wrong. I'm glad to see it wasn't just me. As always, your responses to the community results in changes I (and I'm sure many others) love! Thank you!

Re: Friday Facts #195 - Poles re-design
I like the old designs. As is, the wood pole is simple and straight-forward, the medium has a unique and neat look to it (also, the uniqueness helps the eye identify it easier), and the large looks like a long distance line with it's wide base. The new ones look too similar to each other, and aren't...
