Unfortunately, I don't think you can load new save in older versions. Computer completely becomes unusable after crash, have to power cycle. Crazy. Try to run some stress-tests for your hardware, update your drivers. Games themself cannot crash/freeze your PC, they just stress your (broken) hardware...

I'm not very far in the game yet, but I like it. Graphics is neat. Tutorial system is non-invasive and don't tell you what to do next. Limited accumulators of the mecha encourage automation. Little starting planet pushes you to build spaghetti. Core mechanics are much simpler than Factorio ones, but...

Well, constant consumption will not make game harder.

Power consumption rarely drops, so you don't need any circuit control, just add engines gradually, when you really need them. And have a separate generator for a coal patch, just for safety.

I think it's better to start with placeholder sprites, make a playable prototype, and then search for an artist. Ideas are nice, but prototypes are usually way more attractive for potential contributors.

What now? You can copy-paste wagon settings onto a row of requester chests, for example. And then remove unnecessary requests from them. It would be a bit faster than setting all requests manually. P.S. Or you may want to copy train settings into the combinator that controls precise loading circuit...

I like 'em. They help me keep in mind whether I'm looking at radar/map view or live view. Yeah, I like that effect, it looks good for most parts of the factory... But stroboscopic blinking on vertical buses is quite annoying sometimes. I will not be surprised that it gives headache for some people.
