Re: QOL/Belts-> Show colored overlay on mouse-over
this got made but does anyone know how to turn it off?? it makes arrows EVERYWHERE. covers up alot of stuff. What? I don't think this suggestion was implemented. Could you post a screenshot? Maybe you enabled some of debug overlays accidentally? Try to press F4 and look there. It's "show-trans...

[kovarex] [1.1.12] Drag reversing adds unexpected undergrounds
Another follow up on 94375 . This case probably works as designed. But it would be nice to have a quick way to reverse a belt, so I post it anyway. 1) Build a belt with underground (top part of the the screenshot) 2) Try to drag-reverse the belt Actual: unexpected undergrounds appear and break the f...

[kovarex] [1.1.12] Drag placing adds unexpected undergrounds during quick movement over existing ones
Follow up on 94375 1) Build a belt with underground (top part of the the screenshot) 2) Hold LMB to begin drag-upgrade 3) Quickly shake mouse around existing undergrounds Actual: unexpected undergrounds appear Expected: nothing happens Intuition tells me that this would be fixed together with 94488 ...

Re: Please help me make a choice
1.1 has cool Tips & Tricks system. Will be very useful for first playthrough, I think.
Trains are simpler to manage, belts are simpler to build...
As for stability, it's quite stable today (1.1.12).
So, I'm voting for 1.1.

[kovarex] [1.1.12] Drag placing adds unexpected undergrounds without any obstacles
See also: 94390 When I draw long bus lines, underground belts appear in the middle of the line without any obvious reason sometimes. There are no obstacles. In practice it happens quite rarely (mouse sensor glitches or system lags?), but I found a way to reproduce it almost every time: 0) Create san...

Still reproducible in 1.1.12, unfortunately. Here is a video:
When smart drag is off, belts are placed normally, without any gaps.

Re: [1.0.0] Offensive Automatic Train Name
Well, some early access games are very restrictive with that and accept only names as names. No nicknames, no jokes, only names. It too boring and restrictive, of course. But surely reduces debates about inappropriate names.

Re: Automatic Steam update notice, "ok" for the 100:th time
Write a suggestion for adding a "Don't bug me again!" checkbox I don't think it would be a good idea. 1) People would forget that they're playing outdated version. 2) Outdated versions are removed sometimes. And then steam force-reverts to the stable. P.S. At least it doesn't reboot every...

Re: [1.0.0] Offensive Automatic Train Name
I agree that devs should may want to forbid some known words in backer names. Not because they are offensive, just because it's a game for all ages and children may play it.

Re: 1.1.11 Cant place entity by building robots
Looks like a regression. In 1.0 we were able to place ghosts anywhere. And now shift-click works only around the player.
Edit: 1.1.8 works fine too.

[kovarex] [1.1.11] Drag placing adds unexpected undergrounds without any obstacles
When I draw long bus lines, underground belts appear in the middle of the line without any obvious reason sometimes. There are no obstacles. And it's not an out-of-range issue that was solved in 1.1.11 since I get it mostly in the editor or sandbox mode. In practice it happens quite rarely (mouse se...

[kovarex] [1.1.10] "ghost in the way" while trying to build a ghost exactly over existing ghost
Steps to reproduce: 1) Shift-click to place a ghost of something (i.e. belt, assembly machine) 2) Don't move cursor and shift-click again Actual: "transport belt ghost in the way" message appears Expected: no messages In 1.0.x those messages were displayed only if original building had dif...

Re: [1.1.9] Automatic underground belts placed improperly when obstacle disappears
Looks like I managed to do it without an obstacle: 94375.
But it can be a slightly different code path since you don't release the button and I start building over existing belts.

[kovarex] [1.1.9] Drag placing can't reuse existing undergrounds
Looks similar to 94362 and 94356 . But I dunno whether it uses the same code path, so I report it anyway. 1) Build a belt with underground (top part of the the screenshot) 2.1) Try to drag-upgrade the belt over existing one (result is on the middle of screeshot) 2.2) Try to drag-reverse the belt (re...

[1.1.9] Drag placing bends the belt in a wrong point
1) Put three belts in a horizontal line (see left side of the screenshot) 2) Place your cursor to the free tile to the left of them and start drag-placing (see middle portion of the screenshot) 3) Move your cursor to the right over existing belts (don't touch free space after them!) 4.1) Press R to ...

Re: [1.1.9] "Cannot reach" causes belt placement to place underground segment
Yeah, I started with yellow belts, so it was really hard to reproduce. Blue belts are much easier. P.S. As for real obstacles, it tries to put undergrounds around them as tight as possible, so usually there are no space to add unexpected undergrounds. Unless those obstacles contain a 1-tile hole. Se...

Re: [1.1.9] "Cannot reach" causes belt placement to place underground segment
A little note for better reproduction: don't walk too far on step 2, just 2-3 tiles are enough. Otherwise ordinary belts would be placed instead of underground ones. P.S. Looks like obstacle avoidance logic kicks in and marks those unreachable tiles like an obstacle. And then it tries to jump under ...
