Re: Factorio for the iPad?
All this can be done on a touch sensitive touchscreen - given with some hassle. Look: I run Factorio (most probably not so convenient as you) on a MacBook and use no mouse but the build in trackpad - so no big difference - probably not as effective as with a mouse but it works. And with a BT keyboar...

Re: Factorio for the iPad?
I cannot tell befor I tried it - but the clever polish producers of "This war of Mine" (won several top-awards) showed how a keyboard driven PC game can be excellent being brought to the mobile world.ratchetfreak wrote:

Re: Factorio for the iPad?
Name one task in Factorio that will be easier to do on a (pressure sensitive) touchscreen than with keyboard and mouse. Being able to play Factorio (on) mobile opens a world hundredfold times bigger then being bound to the stationary PC - playable everywhere -, on the bus, train, waiting in line at...

Factorio for the iPad?
That would open a market for this product which could pale the current sales spike on steam. Surely a task but for a mostly keyboard driven game but certainly not impossible giving that the newest generation of iPad & iPhone have pressure sensitive screens and open enough possibilities to outpac...

I though about this too - but - as the level in this very thread is very high (at least for me) I abstained from posting my laymen's products not to spoil the quality.

Hi guys: Yet another green cells build :)
Hi guys! I follow with astonishment your dedicated elaboration on the matter of green cells. One could/can learn a lot of things here. My wish is that you would now move on to focus on heavy oil processing, cracking, lossless and economic use and transport of the resulting products. Start a new subj...

Re: Factorio Purchase Methods
I sign that statement - but - why someone buys via Steam a DRM bound software from a middle man who is extending the food chain and not directly a DRM free one from the developer (and therefore give to the developer a small and free commercial edge) is beyond me. Especially in the light of the shagg...

I strongly recommend to buy from the developers website
I strongly recommend to buy Factorio from the developers website directly because: - that supports the dev team financially as it cuts out the middle men - all program updates are immediately and automatic available - buying direct means one gets a DRM free App - not depending on Steams proprietary ...

Re: Friday Facts #129 - The late game
Having the ability to transport Oil by Barrel give me the option to do it all via one train with one carriage. By utilizing the basic oil processing and converting waste into solid fuel this can also be achieved in a dry environment without ever needing extensive pipe networks. I'm fiddling exact w...
