Re: Friday Facts #367 - Expansion news

Also it is an addition , meaning you won’t be able to play the expansion without the vanilla game. People who haven’t played Factorio yet will be advised to buy and play the vanilla standalone game first (you shouldn’t start by playing mods like Space Exploration or A+B as well). They will then kno...

Re: Friday Facts #367 - Expansion news

Re: Friday Facts #367 - Expansion news

looking for a nano factory

I'm a fan of extremely compressed constructions / nano (but full working up to rocket) settings / factories like shown by the excellent: https://www.youtube.com/c/sublimeant His last run up from scratch to rocket is a outstanding piece of art: https://youtu.be/j6jQoaLzDBU Is there anyone else around...

Re: how to optimise a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016) Monterey

I tried: https://eclecticlight.co/2021/11/15/montereys-memory-leak-and-how-to-avoid-it/ and it worked - at least a bit. What I was looking for was a help with the Factorio setup which provides several adaptations (I don't understand) in the modification when starting up. According to the informatio...

how to optimise a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016) Monterey

I run Factorio on a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016) with Monterey 2,9 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3 - the game begins to slow down extremely.
What are the possible settings you recommend Ito optimise Factorio (Wait for Vram) ec?

Re: Simple Questions and Short Answers

Im looking for a ultra compact red inserter production setup - any idea? how many per min or second ? what size is compact ? ( in relation with previous question) does it require intermediate steps too ? I would tend to think bot based assembly surrounded by beacons would be the most compact/volume...

Kovarex in a row anyone?

Im looking for a simple stackable solution stacking a bunch of Covarex machines in a line so that they start with the first one introducing the 40 good uranium and then filling subsequently one after the other with the good uranium - and the bad as well.

You output 3 items 13 times an 2 items once, so the blue inserters condition never triggers. Use a stack inserter with the same stack size as the circuit connected one as output.
Thank you Löwchen - your where most helpful as always :-)

Hmmm, yeah, I'm starting to think this might be a bug. Just trying now in editor, it seems to work fairly flawlessly. Wheras in my world (started in 1.0.0), I'll post an example. The two on the left are flashing, and there is no circular reference. The block behind them are not only split by the tw...
