Re: Flamethrower behavior changed.
A change in one of the last few experimental updates I mean, I don't think the damage changed at all, it's just now the flamethrower shoots at the mouse cursor instead of just in its direction.

Flamethrower behavior changed.
I liked the flamethrower dynamics more before, when to shoot nearby you'd hold fire for just a moment, and after a short period of time it'd reach to full range.
Edit: This change occurred sometime after 0.13.0 and before or in 1.13.13. I was already in 0.13.x

[13.13] [Pending] "Built By:" field is empty despite username included in settings
On Factorio 0.13.13 single player, the "Built By:" on my structures is blank, no text as to who it is built by.
I have my Factorio username set up in the options and have a Factorio account, it is alan2here.

Re: Friday Facts #142 - Playtesting
Thanks for the info It's a shame that the evolution factor never normally decreases. I'd hoped improving the factories pollution output would cause them to attack less, dominating the other factors such as play time for a long time.

Re: Friday Facts #142 - Playtesting
So I will soon be able to check the evolution factor, improve my factory to produce less pollution, wait without attacking or burning anything, before checking the pollution factor again to see that it has decreased?

Re: Friday Facts #139 - Wrapping up multiplayer
I played Minecraft for ages and it never seemed to get a server browser and never really worked well for me in multiplayer as a result. It is great to see that I won't have to type URIs or IP addresses

That's impressive

Approximating higher resolution textures.
We can increase the resolution of the textures in Factorio with algorithms that have a guess at what the extra pixels might look like from the original pixels available. Can trees spawn surrounding trees sometimes? Can there be an achievement for completion on a small map size? If the train one didn't allow fast or express conveyor, it would really encourage use of trains. Can there be an option when starting a new game to state that you're going for one of these ac...
