Re: Friday Facts #144 - The gfx report
Great FFF guys! About the terrain improvements... when we get more water based mechanics (ie boats), maybe we could have rivers in the world generation? I really like the idea of rivers, boats and bridges and i am thinking about a new power generator: water/wind turbines! Eco-friendly so the aliens...

Re: Friday Facts #144 - The gfx report
About the terrain improvements... Make it more diverse. Currently there is just two types. Water and land, with land having a few different colors. Make it more meaning full. Like, no trees in desert. only oil spawns in desert. certain resources only on certain types of terrain. I have a few ideas ...

Re: Friday Facts #144 - The gfx report
To me this FFF came late on Steam news, around 18.00 (6 PM) on saturday. I like the new train graphics, but a graphics-related post should have a LOT more pictures, and spellcheck should be used. Since i am a perfectionist, i was looking at all the typos like "srsly..." Maybe 0.14 would ha...

This sure makes sense and would add realism, but it is rather hard to pull off in my opinion.
Good idea tho!

Reconfigurable inserters
My idea is, that inserters would have reconfigurable inputs and outputs. In other words, the inserters would have a GUI, wich is used to set in- an outputs within a 3x3 grid, with the inserter in the center (5x5 for long-handled)

Re: Automated Blue Science Pack Factory
I have a setup in my factory that
-can't get backlogged because it cracks heavy oil to light and light to gas
-is super fast
-supports an entire outpost designed for research
-is FAR more compact than the first one posted

The loader should be added, but VERY expensive, to make it more balanced (uses power, need possibly even speed module tier 3s)

Re: Friday Facts #138 - Better Circuit Network III
What i would like to see soon, is that (at least smart) inserters would have reconfigurable in- and outputs, meaning that you could set the input square from within its range as well as its output. It would be soo 'handy' (see what i did there?) and would make things far more compact. I think it's a...
