The problem with your suggestion (which is not a bad suggestion after all) is that you would have to copy these schedules from train to train, which is tedious and extremely error prone. [0.13.1][Twin] Inserters can't just report to the c. network
The button to Enable/Disable the mode of operation and just have it report the statistics appears to be broken for inserters--if I try to change it, it doesn't work. I tested it with the fast inserter and the long-handed inserter.
