Re: [0.16.x] Bob's Mods: General Discussion

I will report it to the AAI developer. It's probably because AAI modifies a few things at the beginning of the tech tree, but doesn't account for whether the inserter overhaul is being used.

Re: [0.16.x] Bob's Mods: General Discussion

Apologies if this has already been pointed out, but with the inserter overhaul the express inserters seem oddly placed in the research tree. They appear in the logistics 3 research, as would be expected - but they also appear under filter inserters (a research node apparently added by AAI Industries...

Re: [MOD 0.16] Realistic Reactors

Sorry if this has already been asked, but is this mod compatible with other mods that introduce new reactor fuels? Specifically, I'm wondering if it's compatible with MadClown's nuclear mods.

Re: Development and Discussion

question is then either to buff the new polymer chains or nerf the old ones. I would personally vote to buff the new ones, since the old ones already seemed fairly balanced (before the new ones came out). I agree with this assessment. Nerfing the plastic production methods that've been in petrochem...

Re: [MOD 0.16.x] MadClown01's Extended AngelBob Minerals

In Angel's mods, ore sorting recipes produce one item per second (when considering the sum of all outputs, and assuming machine crafting speed of 1). I've noticed that a lot of your sorting recipes are significantly faster than this.

Username Changing

Is there a way to change my username on the forums? I want to do so because I have changed my name in reality and no longer want to use the name Jane for my activities on the internet, though I have been unable to find a way to change my username here. Is it possible to do?

Re: Yet another solar array (42x42)

Is this just over on solar or accumulators? The correct ratio is 0.84, right (if not, the answer may differ but the method remains the same)? Since the ratio is accumulators divided by solar panels, if the ratio is larger than expected then there are too many accumulators (due to the numerator bein...

Re: Thoughts on ore processing

Given mixed systems are forced I would be curious to know what MadClown ores you found worth refining, as they may be more worthwhile or cheaper than a pure Angel system depending on what they give. I do know some things given aren't very useful but act as sort of a logistics byproduct you can choo...

Modifications to Angel's mods with several addons

I'm playing with an interesting modlist including all of AAI, Angel's, and Bob's mods. I'm also using MadClown01's addons to Angel's mods, Extended Angels, and a late-game mod called Moon Rock. There are quite a lot of things that I like about this mod list, but there are some tweaks that I want as ...

Re: Development and Discussion

Regardless of the exact value, I'm glad it works how I thought it would. I'm using one currently for looping viscous mud water from mud liquefaction back into my mud water system with a priority over the seafloor pump; previously I would've had to use a circuit condition.

Re: Thoughts on ore processing

With that said, mixed is probably the better fit if you don't want to dedicate a section just for major catalyst production and use only what you have. This is pretty much what I have in mind. I don't want to go over the top with catalyst production and require catalyst production for ores when it ...

Re: Thoughts on ore processing

You get endless geodes from washing plants if that is what you worry about crystal catalysts. Mineral catalysts from crushed stone should be sufficent. Don't know. Regarding geodes from washing plants: "In case geode production still isn't enough (which I think is unlikely provided geodes and ...

Thoughts on ore processing

Note: I'm using the phrase "imprecise sorting" to refer to sorting of the ores that spawn on the map (jivolite, saphirite, etc.) to a variety of pure ore outputs, and the phrase "catalytic sorting" to refer to the combination of several different types of those major ores with a ...

Re: Development and Discussion

Been wondering same about Angel's Bio mod, havent started new modded game yet since i have waited for it. What do i do with all the stone without Bio? Just warehouse full of brick or what :D Don't you use the ore processing methods that involve mineral catalysts? If I'm calculating correctly, to ge...
