Re: Simple combinator-free safe rail crossing
Just closing the gates on red/yellow doesnt't work if you are running really fast, because the gates can take too long to actually close; but if you also close the gates on green signals, you get a safe behaviour, only opening when the player and no train is there, and never closing again when the p...

Re: Safe Rail Crossing
Hm. Not quite understanding the first gif. Maybe this helps: A train needs some time to stop. There is a point before the train (when a signal goes yellow), where it reservates the next block and will not (cause he cannot) break anymore before this signal, even, if the signal goes red. The gif show...

Re: [0.13.17] Circuit-closed signal does not send "green" state
Savefile attached (another one, I didn't save the one with the dark screenshots due to its simplicity). I'd expect a green light and a signal {green: 1} on the wire, instead of the white one with nothing on the wire. Steps to reproduce: Simply build a signal and a light on a rail and configure the s...

[0.13.17] Circuit-closed signal does not send "green" state
Not sure if this is intended, but a closed signal will only send the "red" / "yellow" / "nothing" signals instead of "red" / "yellow" / "green". I would expect to read red/yellow/*green* as if there was no influence by my circuit, independe...

Re: Safe Rail Crossing
I didn't yet find a way to make a 100%-safe crossing, is there one I missed? Most of the other implementations (priorizing the player when there, and keeping the signals green otherwise, as well as not allowing deadlocks, aka stopping both player and train until someone backs off) fail on trains run...

Train Exit Side
Here is a summary of the New features of 0.13 Changes Exiting vehicles now puts you to the left of the vehicle with respect to the orientation of the vehicle. I think it would be useful to exit trains to the right side (or the side, where there is no rail): Signals and train stations promote right-...
