Finish lines are a human creation. The universe has no finish lines only infinite change. If you get rich making this game do what you enjoy. If you enjoy working on the game then keep working on the game, maby work less hours and make it more relaxing.

I mass produce thousands of every object just because. Then I have to expand my factory to handle ungodly amounts of train inputs and smelters to supply my overproducing factory.

One problem I've noticed is that the consolidated laser turrets are not capable of dealing with the 50-alien waves as well as the many smaller turrets. They have a lot of overkill and target newer ones slower, allowing the aliens to get many more shots each wave; this allows turrets to be destroyed...

They are annoying but I don't quite hate them... they burn nicely and are plentiful. Now if only we could burn biter corpses.

Actually no, I'm sorry, I'm confusing myself again. Laser Turret Shooting Speed would increase laser turret's power consumption in 0.11 as well, so it's working as intended. Only on larger scales. While that image looks cool it would look more like a background to someone that knows little about the game or its structures. You need to get some cool looking factories and video from in-game. I never look at concept art or anything that isn't ingame because its irrelevant, you buy a game to play...

Great game at the moment got told by friends it could be a fun game for me, they bought me the game as bithday present, only playing the experimental version. Only thing what makes me sad atm is that running MP doesnt work fine on 0.12 everytime we want to play a map bigger than 2 MB everyone gets ...

You should look at paradoxes DLC model. It has worked wonders for their games and I keep on buying the dlc. How it works is every so often they release a new set of dlc. That dlc is more like a traditional expansion for games but you can play the game with or without it; they also release minor dlc ...

Just like to say that your .12 multiplayer is about as stable as many 1.0 releases of games I have played. Your definitely on the right track. Also multiplayer is really fun it really goes well with this game.

... What happens when you are disconnected? Do all the materials disappear? ... Depends on how long the autosave is back with which the server gets restarted. All things between the save and the crash are lost, all things from before the save are still there. Rejoined and started with nothing again...

Dammit I almost got the materials to secure your south-west wall against all those illegal immigrants. What happens when you are disconnected? Do all the materials disappear?

I protected the South-west border against those immigrants and got our mines working again.
