Re: Avaliable Robots
It shows the available robots :D Meaning if your 200 are occupied flying around doing stuff, theres no one ready to be used, until one of the flying ones goes back to the port. When I had my 200 bots flying around it said I had ~160 bots then when all 200 bots went into one of the ports the number ...

Avaliable Robots
Has anyone tested what exactly available robots measures? I noticed my available robots was 0/68 but I had 200 construction bots between two roboports right next to me so I am not sure what exactly it is measuring or what info it is showing ?_?

Robot Death Logs
There needs to be some sort of logistic/construction robot death log that shows how 150 robots suddenly died off. I am being killed due to robots dying non-stop and I have no idea how they are dying or why.

Re: Peace with Aliens
I would like to see an expansion that makes the Aliens intelligent and allows them to join together in alliances and attack me along with being able to trade my produced goods with some of them. When I trade those goods however it may arm them and make them stronger, but I gain alien relics without ...

Re: Pirating as a 'demo'. Your opinions?
I'm aware of how email works, thanks, my point is no one uses a program like outlook to send mail to their local company mail server using a mail protocol anymore, you send the data to an application thru thru your browser, and the server's of that company convert that to email rather than having O...

Re: Off-Topic discussions about Pro and Contra DRM plus meta
Breaking DRM is a thing some people use to prove their skills and spread their name. Without DRM there is no point in bothering. DRM's only purpose is to appease shareholders to pretend you are actively doing something to combat that "EVIL" piracy: http://www.forbes.com/sites/danielnyegrif...

Re: Pirating as a 'demo'. Your opinions?
 Email is a browser based service these days grandpa. Even outlook has become something called "live.com". If you want to use google mail for your business, it costs $15 a month last I checked. The companies I run IT for use live.com, because their service is free. I called the ema...

Already a topic on this and already been answered multiple times: Again Ill say, come off of it. VapidLinus, the OP, wanted to know the answer to his question, and at least the angry morality police were staying on the topic and answering his question. Getting upset that the question is brought up,...

Re: Trains vs conveyors?
I personally like trains since I can run 20 trains on the same track compared to laying 20 sets of conveyor belts. Maybe for a small base trains aren't as useful but I play on an infinite map going for global conquest so expanding my rail network is so much easier than building a conveyor network. I...

Re: Blueprint Timeout
How like so: if you built it it has unlimited timeout. If it was destroyed current timeout? I like this. Another idea would be only to timeout ghosts outside a construction network area. If my wall was destroyed I wouldn't want it to time out until I was completely incapable of repairing it or gett...

Doors and Gates
Walls need a way to pass through them without just leaving a huge gaping hole for biters to charge into, we need electronic doors that we can put into wall sections.
We could also use some sort of a "gateway" for trains and cars to pass through without letting biters charge blindly inside.

Re: Blueprint Timeout
If you check \base\prototypes\technology\logistic-robot.lua, you can easily find the code to add, say, higher level techs to have more long lived blueprints. If it should be added in the base game? I'm impartial on this. If it will not be based on technology, then there should be an option in the g...

We need an option to control how long queue'ed constructions last before they time out. I like to have far more being constructed than my bots can handle to keep them busy all of the time but I keep getting checker-boarded walls and half-built constructions because queue'ed constructions keep timing...

The thing I like the most on 0.10 so far, is the experience of standing next to rails and hearing the train passing by. Oh god now I will hear the train sneaking up behind me trying to kill me...
