Re: Friday Facts #225 - Bots versus belts (part 2)

I agree with your whole posting. Almost. Yes this balance requires addressing Why? As you stated just one block before, it doesn't affect the majority of players. And even if it did - it would be ridiculous if they changed it. For month and month almost every FFF was about how to get more UPS from t...

Re: Friday Facts #224 - Bots versus belts

I don't get you dev-guys. On the one hand you are seeking for ways of "encouraging" us players to use belts... On the other hand you break splitters by removing the "per-item-type"-splitting feature. Why? How are we supposed to have balanced multi-item-mixed belts, when you remov...

Re: Version 0.16.16

Changes Changed splitters so they work more intuitively. The left and right lane splitting is now completely independent. The decision whether item goes to left or right output is now independent of the item type. Bugfixes Fixed that consequtive splitters could uncompress compressed belt. (https://...

Same here. 89% on Startup. With or withouts mods.

Also, setting texture-compression to false fixed it

Re: [15.29+] large blueprint-storage.dat --> immediately MP-drop

Hi, I was able to reproduce the behaviour. I deleted blueprint-storage.dat, added all the blueprints again. Then, when I quit the server and try to connect, I can connect and catch-up. Then I get dropped again, not able to send anything to the server, not even chat-messages. I delete the new bluepri...

Multiplayer -> Set Focus on Password field when connecting

TL;DR When connecting to a password-protected multiplayer-game, please set the focus on the passwort-entry-field once the window pops up. What ? It's just a little inconvenient, but inconvenient whatsoever. When you connect to a multiplayer-map, which has a password set, once you click "connec...

Re: Let us give names to Logistic Networks, please

RE: * Merging -> let the "bigger*" network "win" and keep only this name (bigger: more roboports, more items, more robots, whatever you like) * Same Name -> Act as _one_ network. For example: All networks called "iron-ore-outpost" have 1 million iron ore in their chests.

I edited the title. It happens since 15.29, and also with 15.30. Not 100% sure if it happened with 15.28 too

[Oxyd][15.29+] large blueprint-storage.dat --> MP-drop

Ok, so here it comes: My blueprint-storage.dat is 10 MB of size. When I join any MP game (even a freshly started one with a tiny map), I get dropped from the game immediately. After catching up I cannot even send a message to chat. It just says "Server not responding" and after the progres...

And another one, I was able to provoke the crash even before loading any game, just running factorio.
