I agree that the nuclear bomb name is not that appropriate for it. It is no more than a novelty really in my opinion.. Considering how much it costs to research. I posted somewhere that it would be nice to have a SILO launched nuclear bomb that hits where you want and creates an area of devastation ...

Agree.

Stuff that is crafted with wood can just be crafted with logs. Stuff that requires iron sticks can just require Iron plates. I always end up with some left overs as well that just take space in my inventory.

You already have the Lazy Bastard achievement. I like hand crafting a lot and it gets complicated enough later on since you often have to craft intermediate products. There are enough incentives to make factories already.
