Not that I blame anyone here for not understanding this kind of stuff, since English seems to be second or third language for the majority of the users here, so it's understandable acronymia and webspeak flies over your heads.

Is there a list of all the valid colours available? I can only figure out the primary colours and anything else turns him black.

Re: This OP thinks some items are OP and others are too OP
Mods aside in the vanilla game the only problem is the lack of choice in regards to power generation. There's solar, and there's steam. Unless the world settings have coal being fairly abundant steam isn't really much of an option after you get past 50MW of constant power usage, you need what coal t...

Re: [YouTube] Factorio Fixit
Each higher level of science pack takes more time to be crafted (except alien science packs) so technically if you want equal production for all science you should have 1 more assembler for each tier. That being said practically speaking if you have constant production 4 blue science assemblers gets...

Re: Smart/multitask furnaces
Furnaces draw 0 watts when idle, so turning off the system will only save on idle inserter draw. And it takes you a good 150 inserters to net you a massive savings of a single solar panel, so I don't really see the point. In fact, it may even be the case that the energy usage of the circuit system u...

Request For Items in Inventory To Be Put In Storage
Pretty simple idea that would be super helpful. Middle click a slot in your inventory, and it will mark it for logistic bots to take it from your inventory into storage. After the full stack has been taken, the slot will be unmarked automatically. I've seen this general idea get talked about before ...

Re: Can steam generators be used in emergencies only?
I personally find the easiest way to temporarily turn off your steam power is to just remove a single piece of pipe in the connection. I've tried the circuit network finangling trick but to be honest it didn't quite really work as well as I would have hoped, and it's awfully complicated to set up fo...

Re: Version 0.10.12
Multiplayer through LAN should work on the 11.0 release, though it might be pretty buggy if played through the Internet. The devs said that they didn't want to release on Steam until multiplayer was sorted out. So if my divining rod is working correctly I believe the Steam release will come by Summe...

Re: Question about electricity
Pollution is not directly correlated with energy usage, as radars and roboports make no pollution in of themselves and assembler machine 1's make relatively more pollution for their energy usage than the more advanced versions. However I do believe that any percent change to energy usage due to shor...

Re: Better Display of Resources in the World Map
I too think the world map could use an overhaul. Stone and iron have too similar a hue. Copper and enemies are can also be hard to distinguish especially when zoomed out. Individual biters should look different than their nests, and deserts reduce the contrast between objects making these problems m...

Re: Allow non-owners to play with owner over lan
While the devs might be OK with this, that does not mean adding in this feature is not a good idea. In this scenario of a LAN it would offer a 'legitimate' solution that does not involve breaking the law. Even if there is a 0% chance of legal repercussions to this act, giving other people my own cop...

Re: Blueprints: Mirror/flip
I think changing gun turrets would be a good idea, even if it requires a new graphic. I'm pretty sure it is the only thing in the game that is 2x1 and can't be rotated. Since it messes up blueprints they should either be 1x1 or 2x2, or 2x1 but rotateable like splitters. I can't imagine how any of th...

Re: Factory Boredom
Ah ok. Do you have a slow Internet connection or something then? Factorio doesn't have DRM ergo does not need a crack. So if you were able to download 9.8 then 10.2 should be no issue, unless your internet connection prevents you from downloading the 100+MB file. It's possible to select what files y...
