Will the mining bots mine UNDER stone boulders? I know this is a weird question, but I have a use case where I want to preserve the stone boulders.

Update: It happened all the way during the 2nd rocket's entire build, BUT after it launched it did reset so no biggie. All is fine now.

Installed it, researched it all...then found out that major recipe changes on the steel chest force you to have to deal with iron chests and wooden chest. Any code substitution work-around for this? There is a caveat with the rocky snow mod, though. You get a LOT of lakes despite your settings. I use "No Lakes" to undo this, but then you're reliant on other methods of pulling water out of the ground.

Yeah, I was thinking of a "reset rating" once a mod is made MP-Safe by the author. Certainly, mods are hard to test which is why I feel that the community can assist with this...just as you mentioned.
