Re: Support - Uranium Power
Okay, so let me get this straight; The reactor's max power output scales with the number of rods in it? Yes. 15x4.7% rods in a 250 MW reactor can put out 262.85 MW of heat. Similarly, 15xMOX in a 250 MW reactor can put out 295.04 MW of heat. This is heat output, not usable power output, which is on...

Re: Support - Uranium Power
Hey, if it's taking a few hours to have several dozen nukes then it's perfectly fine. Our small reactor has been running for days and none of our rods are even budging below 90%. So we must be doing something wrong. I'd just like to be able to try one nuke before we get to the end of the game. Henc...

Re: Support - Uranium Power
I've got a question - how are you supposed to get depleted fuel rods? The rod's life get used up as heat is expended. I've put some fuel rods in my reactors and in a few cases they got depleted pretty much within a minute, I'd like to know how you got them to deplete within a minute. ;) but the new...

You can also force regen the ores from commands. Look inside the mod for the command...I remember it was in data.lua? Not in a position to look it up at the moment. Here's the command to force regeneration game.regenerate_entity("y-res1") game.regenerate_entity("y-res2") Ore was...

Re: Yuoki Industries - Informations, Suggestions, Questions
You should be able to use the mod in your current game. Resources can be made through soil digging or conversion of any vanilla resources into unicomp and then convert the unicomp to any Yuoki resources. In my game, to convert resources into unicomp requires a cimota reconstructor, which can only b...

Re: Support - Uranium Power
I apologize, but I'm having the same problem reverse engineering the 500 MW reactor design. Things are crammed together too tightly and the temperatures too similar to distinguish your loops and piping. As you know the lack of labels in Factorio make understanding someone else's piping a pain (I re...

Re: Uranium Power
Fatmice, I loaded up your example world and everything runs for a few moments and then shuts down. I'm sure that's somehow because of the mods but I cannot explain why it happens. Do elaborate. :o What shutdown? No electricity? Have you tried running that example map using only the base-game + my m...

Re: Uranium Power
I'm not sure if I'm posting in the proper place... if not, please excuse me. Is there a tutorial for this mod that explains everything? I'm using Angel's mod setup and it appears I'm on the 0.6.6 version. So far, I have successfully created two 250MW reactors and each reactor has two 43MW cooling t...

Re: Uranium Power
Come up with what? I don't understand. I think he wants you to replace your ore with Angel's version instead, since he's not keen on having two types of the same ore. So he wants to use Angel's fluorite to make HF? And suffers a much longer process? Sure :!: :P I can make a compatibility script in ...

Re: Support - Uranium Power
I should elaborate on how the recipe-type heat exchanger work. It works similar to how you would expect hot fluid and cold fluid being together. They will reach an equilibrium temperature. This is true also for the wall-type heat exchanger. However, there is a very subtle difference. The recipe-type...

Re: Support - Uranium Power
I have 15 when input low. Not when full. This version have 15. That is expected. Nothing strange at all. Fluid can not be modified safely when it is "low." My algorithm tries to catch when a fluid is "high" but will miss if they drain too fast. This is due to the fact that the a...

hey at up side i used basic pump not fast pump Looks-fine-to-me-with-small-pump.png 05.zip this exchange heat works strange... The code is not strange. Re: Support - Uranium Power
This my working get energy. I will assume that the reactor loop is pressurised-water. What is in your intermediate loop? Pressurised-water or water? If the temperature in the intermediate loop is too low, the final heat exchange may not occur. The temperature in the intermediate loop at the point o...

Re: [MOD 0.14.13+] Creative Mode 0.2.5 - Cheats++, Clicks--
Why would you need to test the timings? It's just a matter of throughput and how long it takes to do one round of research. This is getting rather arcane.

Re: Uranium Power
Of course, 0.15 will bring many changes that will affect this mod. (I'm on vacation but will be back to work tomorrow...it's high time to push out the next release, 0.6.7, just a few sprite work is all that's left to do and some small code changes). The rollback of features for the nuclear power in ...
