Zeblote wrote:When the pump is connected to a train, shouldn't this part be removed?

Yes, it will be removed with a mask and patched with a different ending.
This demo is using the original design of the pump, its aim is to preview the connector, not the patch, yet.

Re: Friday Facts #133 - The train struggle

the current method you're looking at just looks terrible. It might be a better idea to just accept that vertical stations are shorter, and simply work to fix the cars to integer lengths, unless you can find a much better-looking solution. The screenshots from the game showing the new plan for the t...

Zeblote wrote:How can you show pictures of fancy trees but not one of a fancy forest?!
No shock!
Here an early preview of an engine-generated forest, as you can see, red is too aggressive, and colors are very experimental, we need to test quite a lot.
In my opinion is early to speak about forests

Re: Factorio Logo font?

One day when Factorio is looking perfect, and everybody is happy playing the game, I'll build a factorio.ttf and a factorio-bitmap font for peripheral purpouses.
Not a promise, but a sincere intention.

Yesss!,
I use to dream with a color picker wheel with a real-time render preview of the chosen color on the player rotating in a turntable style.
EDIT: only in my most wet Factorio dreams

I feel like the most democratic CSS ever : ) Have you tried responsive design :D? You can do some crazy stuff with @media in a modern browser. May even make the forums work well with mobile devices like smart phones. I've tested the styles in several devices and resolutions, and in all of them, the...

Hey Albert, this is a quite beautiful work. When this is the style, how the interface in game will look later, then I can say I like it. Don't exaggerate perfectionism. :) Hehe, btw. "Perfect": - the smilies are for white background - factorio favicon is missing (http://en.wikipedia.org/w...
