Re: Game Crash since updating to 0.17.11
There's a new pymod dependency on a standard library of mod functions. Look at your mod list in the factorio menu - all the pymods should be red. Install what's missing.

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion
I'm not sure what you are claiming about pipes being unlocked at the start? With BioIndustries mod installed the player has access to wood pipes at the beginning: ... I have other mods active that I don't think are affecting this (Flow Control, AAI Industry, Tiny Start) but might be. If you have a ...

That's okay; it'd take years to render it.

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
RSO is highly configurable. I was actually trying to configure it in the opposite way that you suggest : I turned off starting ores, because I felt that it was *too* easy to have so many of them at start, but was restarting maps until I had one with Iron+Copper nearby water and Quartz and Tin (and ...

Try with RSO and you will start looking different to ore processing Using RSO is an intended part of the balance? What settings do...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
t1 - Ore > processed > molten > plates t2 - Same as t1 because it just unlocks steel and few recipes for graded iron which are unusable at this point. t3 - Ore > processed > graded iron > iron dust > slime + useless pulp at this point which is burned away > unslimed > plates (with some byproducts t...

Re: Bugs & FAQ
It looks like t1-plates and t2-plates are both steel for some reason, while t2-gears and t2-pipes are brass. At any rate, here's a lua file with just the floatation cell downgraded to t1-pipe (steel). Replace the existing file in angelsrefining/prototypes/recipes with this one. Are there any more re...

Re: Feedback
I just wanted to chime in and say that I really enjoy the tradeoff between complexity and scale in the mod. It makes for a very different gameplay style which looks daunting at first but is actually quite laid back. Whereas the vanilla game is completely focused on maximizing throughput and scaling ...
