Re: Version 0.17.25

No, it isn't and I was pretty pissed when I wrote that. Luckily they wan't to revert it in the next patch. Half your posts seem to have been written when pissed. Well we are more in beta territory by now even if they still call it alpha. Seems they didn't hear your command. I am only a human. Well ...

Re: Version 0.17.25

https://i.imgur.com/ENsJG56.png revert that and stop breaking my mods. English is probably not your first language, it is not mine either, but to me that sounded pretty rude. Factorio is still alpha and the LUA API subject to change. So if something breaks you have to adapt your mods to the new API...

Re: Version 0.17.21

Well, at this state, when major releases are so big and stabilisation is a long process, it would almost make sense to have another category: Stable : 0.16.51 Semi-stable : 0.17 mostly during weekends Experimental : other. Sounds like Debian :) stable - no known bugs in the packages and therefore s...

Re: Version 0.17.18

Sorry to say this 0.17.18 is the worst realize ever. 2 macroscopic bugs found in few minutes of gameplay, never happened before. Well, you did report them ? They were reported already, but yes one i reported, the other is probably related to the same issue, considering is GUI issue. Check out 0.17....

Re: Friday Facts #286 - Pollution cleanup

Knowing how much pollution the biter nest has available with which to make biters would probably help as well. How much exactly is 20? Or 80? Does the nest have 100 pollution or 5000? Or 6? Yep. You could watch it accumulate that way. Admittedly, I am unsure if it shows that like it did in that fri...

Re: [0.17.1] intro too hard

https://forums.factorio.com/download/file.php?id=44964 I know I am "this guy" but you made some grave mistakes in your base that will surely overwhelm the base and yourself as a player. For example there is too many hand-feeding going on (iron smelting, copper smelting), which binds your ...

Re: [0.17.1] intro too hard

... Respectfully disagree. Its the level designer's job to guide the new player not to rush or stall the level. The old demo did it, first playthrough each objective took me around an hour, im genuinely learning basics, like how to control both lanes of belts. Most importantly i enjoy it. (Of cours...

Re: [0.17.1] intro too hard

... no it is not obvious to all, maybe to you. some first time player will want to check out the game and advance the game through objectives, at least thats me. But if you rush through the objectives nearly every other game also lets you fall on your face, because your character has bad equipment,...

Re: [0.17.1] intro too hard

There is no real time pressure. Events triger when you complete the objectives. So if you feels like being not ready to enter the next phase of the campaign, stall the last objective and get yourself and your base into a better position. "stall the last objective" seems like cheesing for ...

Re: Modular Extensible PnP Factory

Hello, I'm looking for an easy scalable layout for my factory and found this interesting layout philosophy. But I'm not sure if I understand it correctly. How can I increase the production quantity without many conversions? If I add copies of a production site horizontally to the original productio...
